This became my favorite song in the game so fast when it dropped. A.B.A is a humunculus created by an alchemist named Paracelsus, but before she was born he was hauled away by an unknown organization, so when A.B.A awoke she was completely alone in the laboratory she was made in, known as Flask/Frasco. She spent 10 years alone in Frasco while becoming enamoured with key collecting, as she views them as a symbol her freedom. When she finally left Frasco she encountered a sentient key-shaped axe called Flament Nagel. This axe is what's known as a magical foci in the lore, which means an object or creature that has had intense emotions imparted onto it. You've reacted to I-No before, who is also a magical foci created from humanity's intense hope for a brighter future during the war against Gears. It's not known exactly what kind of circumstances led to Flament Nagel existing but during the war it was passed from wielder to wielder a ton, as it had the ability to send its wielder into a self destructive rage, which is great for the axe because it feeds on blood. A.B.A fell in love with the axe basically immediately due to his key-like shape, and renamed him to Paracelsus after her creator, and made him her husband without any thought of asking for his opinion. Her biology also seems to make her immune to the effects of wielding him, and in fact her own strong emotions of jealousy and fear of losing him have the power to transform him, for better or worse. Even tho Paracelsus is content how he is, she journeyed with him for awhile, seeking out a way to give him a human body, but she seemingly dropped that goal sometime off-screen, partially because she was afraid that would make him want to leave her. When she finally returned to the series in Strive as DLC, her and Paracelsus reconciled and had an honest conversation about their relationship and are both working on doing better for eachother.
When I tell you this character was probably the most obscure playable character in the series up until recently, I mean it man. She debuted in a spin-off called Guilty Gear Isuka before being added to XX in an updated release, and then from there she just fell off the face of the earth. Not even so much as a cameo in Xrd, and even in Isuka and XX her story is extremely self contained and isolated from the main plot. The closest things she has to connections in the story are the fact that Elphelt stole her guns from another laboratory called Frasco 2, and in Strive Asuka mentions A.B.A, not by name tho, but as "the Frasco specimen", while discussing what inspired him to create a clone of himself. Some ppl debated if A.B.A was even canon up until Asuka mentioned her when he was added, and boom now she's actually here. Seeing her go from such a neglected character to getting this absolute love letter of a theme and a fantastic updated design, it makes me happy, and I main her now in the game alongside Bridget :)
In reality, plot relevance really doesn't matter all that much in this series. Every character is their own main character, some just get more screen time than others.
The ending section of this song is one of the best musical sections in the whole series. The line "I'm not here to fit in this world, I just want to make a difference" is referencing Pink Floyds The Wall in the way that its sung, and the intro to the whole section with the organ is a reference to the beginning of her theme in XX. Naokis vocals, alongside the beautiful heartfelt piano in the background, the bongos??? and the absolutely batshit crazy drums and bass during that whole section is so emotionally overwhelming, my mind was blown when I first heard it.
Slight Correction if im not a clown, ABA found the Axe and it turned into a key to lure her into wielding it so it could feed get her killed just like all its previously wielders (it worked maybe a little too well)

Your audio is a little desynched! Glad you reacted to this theme though, it's definitely one of the most narratively clear songs from the OST. The idea of "words" that symbolize you being a good person acting as armor that people use to shield themselves and how you cannot be free until you stop pretending to be something you aren't and accept yourself is very beautiful and related back to "The Smell Of The Game"! That song mentions words too, saying that "If the words kill me / I don't need a new world order". So in one song words are there to protect yourself, while in the other words are there to hurt others. There are actually quite a few parallels like this in the OST, it makes trying to understand the lyrics way more satisfying!
AAHHHH YOU GUYS FINALLY REACTED TO IT! This song quickly became my favorite when this character was released (and she became my new main in the game - really fun to play!).
It's definitely hard to figure out the structure at first, but after a couple repeat listens, it's actually pretty clearly defined for the most part. I'm surprised you guys didn't catch Daisuke just blatantly ripping off Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall with the "I'm not here to fit in this world" motif. Which, once you notice it, makes the speed section at the end of the song that much cooler because like...how many people would've ever thought to set that melody to speed metal? It's just such a creative song, and I fucking LOVE it.
I can't remember if I've suggested it already, but a new character named Slayer recently came out (yes, named after the band lol), and his theme, "Ups and Downs" is...let's just say that if you thought this song or Drift got jazzy, just you wait...
Also one more thing about this character that the character A.B.A want to marry the key on her hand named paracelsus and she is very yandere to him
