Excellent video Brandon :) also farmers always invent stuff for trail and errors for sure plus share surprises idea's too help others too! I will agree to that and I know I have also made lots them Lol too always helpfull when can too!
Milwaukee tools actually holds a patient on the 18V battery platform and many early 18V competitors were paying Milwaukee because of legalities. That is why DeWalt has the 20V system, even thought it's been tested and proven that the minute you hit the trigger the battery and tool runs at 18V but they don't have to pay the patient fee. Cross pollination is a major issue for seed growers and for large sweet corn growers near field corn fields. Similar to spray drift on organic crops near non organic growers, one organic grower of seed soybeans lost 40+ acres of accredited certified organic ground for 3 years because of spray drift from a neighbor in Kansas.
Got any Syngenta Enogen corn in the neighborhood? That's got a purple kernel marker. Created some pretty multi-color corn when we grew it a couple years ago.
It's crazy how far corn pollen can travel . I grow rare O.P. heirloom corn and don't want GMO corn pollinating my corn because I save my seeds . I been binge watching your videos . I'm a Hoosier as well . We live down in the S.W. part of the state . I hope you have a great weekend !
Awesome thank you for watching!!!....do you sell any of you seed? I've been thinking about growing some to possibly sell at my sister's flower farm in the fall and possibly some popcorn
Are those sickle sections 2” holes apart? They look like the more aggressive serrations knifes. I had ones like that on my gleaner flex header and when I wanted to replace them I couldn’t find those style anywhere. Do you know where to get them?
What header is are you running? How much conversion work did you have to do for it to the l2 to support it I noticed the hydro tank on the left side. Bout to sh*t can the worn out red combine and picked up an l2 with l3 updates for cheap
safety glasses my friend, we want you to be safe, we like your show, i look for it every morning .
Great idea on putting sections on the reel
Well sir it looks like it's time to get those tracks installed.
Well that's next on the list

Dad strength going to have ALOT of ruts to disk under 😆
Always something going on!! Great idea on the sickles. That cross pollination is very interesting. Never knew that myself.
Looks like beans today
Might as well put few more sections on,shorter spacing distance may cut them off quicker?, Don't take long put few more on!🤣👍😎
Glad your sections helped. I wonder if birds could have helped transport the pollen.
That purple corn would be good for your critter corn lol
That's really interesting about that pollen. I wouldn't have thought it would make it that far
Getting ready to eat supper and bam new video 😉
Perfect!
I think you need to do do. some tiling

The purple corn kernels are most likely a GMO tracker for hire ethanol corn
I used a sickle section welded to a reinforcement rod to cut off wrapped stuff on the combine.
Glasses on when drilling...

It's actually some sort of Indian corn he's growing I guess it's almost like that blue corn they make in to chips
That makes sense

Maybe you need to put more on each end
Hart tools are made by TTI same company that owns milwaukee and ryobi also makes rigid power tools

@@AaricHale ok, thanks
Do you have a set if long dividers with shields? That should direct the residue away from the end of the reel.
The set I had were junk I've been thinking about building some

I'm not sure the hole spacing they were definitely for my Gleaner head they are Herschel brand and I think I bought them at Big R
@@dirtgrainsteel ok thanks I’ll check it out.
How is the reel driven on that head? I see a tank on the head. Is that system off of a AC head adapted to the IH platform?
That is the original reel drive from a AC head if you go to some of my very first videos you will find the video about it
What state are you in
Indiana
@@dirtgrainsteel our farm looks like that we have a farm in MO. By Mississippi River 50 miles north of St Louis
