- Columbus Ohio was in the path of the Eclipse on April 8th 2024. I just stepped outside and recorded the Eclipse and was surprised how fast the light reduction changes as 100% blocked approached. It was noticeable by the second. There still was light coming in from the horizon as our atmosphere diffused some light from miles away.
