Yeah definitely got the weather I was hoping for. Unfortunately I didn't get the quality fish I have in the past. But on a day like that it doesn't matter, it's just great to be there and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.

I was there on Central CA opening day this year, one of my favorite place to fish.

This makes me excited to get a trailer some day to try out other spots than Dana Point! Nice fish out there in Central California!
Or just pop some pool noodles on top of the car and strap it down! I've made it work even if its a bit funky :)

Did you really keep those tiny rockfish?! Shifting baseline as that is not a keeper, let them grow!
Ya I usually let them go, but I did not have my descender that day. And there is no size limit on those rock fish.
