I have watched quite a few of your videos now, and I always enjoy them. I really like your humorous yet serious attitude :-) I have walked quite a few kilometres along the South West Coast Path myself, and it is lovely to watch your walks :-)

Hello again, Sarah :) I was around the St. Ives area, walking some paths in 2012 and 2016. Last year I walked with a friend from Westward Ho! to Padstow, and your videos have brought back fond memories of a fantastic area. This summer we will continue our goal of walking all the Cornwall coastline, and walk from Padstow to St. Ives. We will possibly also walk the St. Michael's way between Marazion and St. Ives. I have been a subscriber for a while, and I also very much enjoy watching the walks where I haven't been. They make me look forward to future walks :) And your good mood makes the videos even more enjoyable.

Ohhh! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - it has brought a broad but humble smile to my face! Our video next week will be around Gwithian Towans which is near Hayle. We so lucky to have so many places with beautiful views but Gwithian has to be one of my favourites, looking back towards St Ives - it always seems to have a golden glow! Once again, thanks for your lovely comments, Sarah :)

I will watch it as soon as it is online :) And looking forward to our walk from Portreath to Gwithian in August. I walked from Hayle to st. Ives in 2016. Lovely. Have a good walk!

Thank you Sarah and Andrew for another lovely walk. We love the ruggedness of the coastal walks but those valleys were beautiful. Poor Andrew! I send John to recce when we are on an unfamiliar route around our home county of W Sussex. More often than not I too hear a few choice words from the undergrowth! I couldn't possibly recce as I am responsible for our two border terriers! Can't wait for your next walk. Another absolutely brilliant video!

Many thanks for your lovely comment - I was wondering if you had a particular favourite? Perhaps you could let me know..... Sarah :)

You know, I don't have an absolute favorite yet because I just started watching. Because I've been to Port Isaac, Tintagel, Padstow, Megavissy, Falmouth, St Ives (the largest part of my time since it was my base), The Lizard, Cadgwith Cove Sennen, Land's End, Penzance-those are the places I miss so (especially St Ives and The Lizard and all around that southern coast), thus I enjoy reliving my time that way. But I love all of Cornwall, and appreciate your videos. I do love to see the coast/ocean.

Ok I have seen doc Martin and jesus it really does look like that. I live less then 2 hours from l.a. and they use sets so moat American shows the towns don't really exist. How awesome to have that be a real place

It is pretty cool, and when you go there it's like walking on to a set! When they are filming they change the names of some of the local businesses and it seems even more surreal! I think they get a lot of interruptions and it would be easier to film on a set. They have converted the barns of a local farm for the interior of the surgery. Pretty cool though!

At age six, my mum parked me for an overnight stay at Poltreworgey Farm, near to Port Issac. She knew the farming family very well. I haven't a clue who they were.

That was fabulous. I love how your dogs follow you closely. It's okay to cross all the properties?

I guess from your comment that you are outside the UK....? In England and Wales we have the Ramblers' Association which campaigns to maintain access rights to established public footpaths, some of which could be centuries old. As long as you stick to the public footpath and keep animals under control, usually landowners are fine. There are more details on Wikipedia! Sarah
