Ram is exceptional! Good purchase. Bought mine new in 2013, 300,000 later, still pulling heavy things with no issues. Great truck!

Do the banks intake heater upgrade immediately. The factory nut rots off and the bolt eats cylinder #6 causing catastrophic engine failure.
Always nice to see a wooden boat. I used to restore old wooden sailboats on Cape Cod.

It will only be a minute and Aden wil be backing the boat trailer for you. My son is now 54 years old. He spent the day with me yesterday and hooked up my outdoor security cameras for me. Seems like yesterday that he rode in the middle of the seat on my old truck and I would use my right arm to steady him when I put on the brakes at a stop sign. He is growing up to be a fine-looking young man. Mrs. Brit better get some sunscreen on that nose of hers. Looks to be a little sun burn when fishing. The sun can be murder when out on the water. Thanks for bringing us along. Doesn't seem that long ago that my son brought his brand new 2005 Dodge Cummins truck by for me to see. He is still driving that truck. Ram Tuff!

You’re going to really like the work you’ll get from your RAM 3500. I’m an 8’ truck bed guy 👍 because I like the tailgate to close when hauling the 8’ loads. Great to see Brittany behind the wheel launching the boat. Congratulations.

I like a diesel over gas any day of the week. A couple things that stick out in my mind is rust on the different parts of the trailer... transmission oil with diesel will help to make moving any latches on the fifth wheel and jacks... not a big dust collector either. I have owned a few wood boats, a power troller that was forty one foot and some smaller lake boats. Never and I mean never cover the wood with fiberglass as it seals moisture in between and will rot out so fast that it will break your heart... I personally just used a oil treatment on small boats and its fine. Plastic seat covers keep from staining clothes or just ever how much you decide to spend. I happen to like the wheelbase on this truck.. coming from a guy seventy five and drove anything that moved... trucks, big big trucks an all highway related rigs. Worked professionally as a mechanic for a better part... cummins has it over many other manufactures. Duramax has a poorly designed turbo setup that fails a lot, takes a day for the best mechanic if the body is removed. Detroit has decided to build a rig and then make anything as for their power units fit in the space allowed. Quite expensive to repair, does not last as long as a cummins engine is known for.

Congratulations on your new truck, i have a 2017 Ram 3500 almost just like it has no problem pulling my 35ft fifth wheel camper, the exhaust break is a great feature to have when pulling a load. oh by the way i only live about 2 1/2 hour drive south of ya'll.

The truck looks great. I got a Dodge 3500 with the Cummings in it in 1999. We still have it. It has pulled livestock trailers, equipment trailers, and anything else l hooked to it. Been a good one.

Have you seen the trailer backing assistant Ford offers? Pretty amazing, gives you steering correcting for the trailer hinge.
Southern men are born knowing how to back a trailer. We don’t need that silly feature.

Awesome truck guys! I leased a ford f350 dualie diesel crew cab with an eight foot bed! I loved that beast! The dodge with the Cummings is a great truck too. Just as long as it's not a Chevy!

In my opinion nothing beats a Cummins diesel. Nice truck you won't be sorry you bought it. Boat building sounds like fun , enjoy but don't over due it . Heat index was 106 yesterday and 104 today.

Love to hear salesman lie. Nothing smart about that buy. You could have bought 2 12 Valve dadges and restored to brandnew for less than that short life Cummins. Your not going to equal fuel milage or life span or horse power with that new truck compared to the 12 Valve. Mine with 1 million miles will just walk off and leave them weak hearted things
