Not really. I have an OCD issue since 6yo and always be the problem for my family. But yeah, I will angry for a “jokes” like this but not for hate because somehow makes me a bit more understand about how to release the negativity about being perfect. Sometimes be understanding never help me because it means I would never put my own effort to change. OCD is one of health problems so the doctors will useless as long as the subject still on their circumstances with OCD behaviors and never try to going out from their comfort zone. 🤷♀️

OCD is not about attaining perfection .. it’s obsession-compulsion meaning repeating the same action n the goal is not perfection, it’s the pathology of obsession that causes the repetitions leading to a disorder. The treatment is cognitive behavior therapy… what they are doing in this scene is kind of exposure therapy, which can be detrimental to OCD people and also can trigger bipolar symptoms. Don’t assume anything about mental health based on movies, always see an expert.

The part at 2:56 was just extremely unrealistic, and the fact that her OCD just vanishes in a second is not how someone with that condition will react. There is no way someone could change that fast without a significant external force.
