    My problem is that embarrassing moments tend to haunt me for a long time.

    I am so scared of judgment that it has endangered my life several times. I became so worried about people hating me for taking too long making decisions, that I crashed my car by not focusing correctly. I'm scared of making decisions and looking like I'm stupid.

    I think if people who do not blush do not understand how crippling this condition is.I also have this problem of blushing and spent most of my life avoiding situations and family isolating myself from most people and it has made me into someone I dont even like anymore.

    I actually had a fear of embarrassment by farting. It started when one day i was in class and feeling gassy. From that day, everytime I was in a group I would be afraid of farting. It got so compulsive that I had to seek counselling. I recovered pretty fast thankfully. My counselor told me the same thing you said along with the advice to just lighten up and learn to laugh things off. It worked. That was almost 20 yrs back.

      Wish my friend had that phobia growing up. Lol. Was actually the opposite. Kind of awful.

    I've found mindfulness is very helpful. The workbook "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels is pretty cool.

    Absolutely perfect explanation dear matt bro. As u adviced, there r only two ways to deal with, either to face it head on bluntly or to gradually expose on the embarassing situations thought off but there is no way to escape for sure. Kudos matt bro

    I just need help with this. But it’s also kinda justified at the moment because I’m not in the best of the circumstances and situations right now. And this really only applies to me with women tbh, I could careless about anything else but my social anxiety towards women matters a lot to me, and I miss out on so many opportunities and such because my situation kinda becomes something I can cling on as a excuse to avoid things. There are people out here that really won’t judge you like a lot of people do, and I don’t give any room for that person to come into my life. I constantly keep all the women that may have interest in me at bay.
