We all loved Wilko but I have to say that Gordon Russell was absolutely excellent in this line-up. I saw them a couple of times live and he never, ever played a wrong note. Great guitarist.
Totally different band once Wilko left. Notice they didn't play any of his songs on this clip, I expect Lee didn't want to pay him royalties on all the early proper Feelgood music.
Such an honoured feeling to have seen Lee with band multiple times live on various places. Kaivohuone in Helsinki Finland was really blowing out of my mind and my pants.
