I had an 8 team moneyline parlay go up in smoke with the NY Giants victory over the washed-up Flacco Colts. That Lions victory last night would have sealed it up. Hoping the Bengals make the playoffs.
The Colts have big issues… I still can’t believe the Giants all but killed their #1 draft pick hopes with a meaningless win. That’s a tough break for your parlay. The Bengals making the playoffs would be great for the playoffs! I’m with you on that 100%.
The Lions still have an offense that will run through any Defense! I can’t see the Vikes slowing them down at home! With that said the Lions have a defense that anyone can score on! I guess this game boils down to whoever has the least amount of turnovers.
the records where done in less games yes, but your not considering the size and skill level that is of today, the athletes are bigger stronger and faster then those of yesterday, when you really quantify the extra few games against way more talent, it makes it even and guys like Barkley should absolutely be talked about in the same level of respect as Dickerson etc etc
Number of carries is also a valid point. Barkley still has an opportunity to get the record with less total carries. No matter if Barkley gets the record or on, he is still going down as one of the best to do it all time, especially in this particular season.

Rodgers to get his 500th career passing touchdown is a lock, glad you mentioned that. Mike Evans for over 85 yds is a lock too, he wants and will get 1000 rec yds.

Nope. Pretty much all the top players are not playing, and anyone else that’s not pretty much completely healthy. The Chiefs goal is to take the 26 days or so of rest they will have since the Christmas game and get their roster as healthy as possible.

Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson and TJ Hockenson will create lots of mismatches for the injured Lions defense. The lions should have rested some players against the 49ers.. the lions are thin at RB. Gibbs isn’t built for being. An every down back or every series back.. that situation could also catch up to them. It’s a huge game, and I’m really looking forward to watching it play out.
Stop this silly "Burrows for MVP", NFL doesn't have a limit of possessions (unlike MLB with 9 innings), Burrows still has middle of the pack 7.3 ypa with tons of sacks and Bengals are stretching the 60 min limit to 13+ possessions a game, which is great for scoring more points but equally not-great for the poor defense having to defend extra possessions....One will always have bad DEF with Bengals offensive strategy, just like MIN used to be the worst NFL defense when they employed the same strategy with Cousins. MIN def didn't improve in talent or strategy, they improved because Cousins with his 11+ possessions made MIN's defense ineffective....just like the Bengals DEF for last two years.

I was mentioning 2 different issues, I just said them one of the other. Nothing more needed to be said other than the Lions defense is bad and in shambles, mainly due to injuries. The second comment in reference to issues with Detroit going into this game and the playoffs is the absence of David Montgomery. He is the key to the Lions one two punch. 🥊. Gibbs isn’t built or meant to be an every series 3 down back. Especially with Gibbs being injury prone.
The Bengals defense is always a concern. I’m banking on a Ravens win and the Steelers not being able to keep up with the Bengals high powered offense.Steelers are struggling for the last 3 games in a big way.

I 100% agree that Allen is gonna win the MVP, because the Bengals record and most likely failure to make the Playoffs will eliminate any chance of Joe Burrow winning the MVP. If the Bengals were playoff bound for sure with a 10-6 record or better, than I think he would definitely be in the conversation with his stats and with what he had to done to overcome one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Josh Allen is Super Man though.
Burrow has 10 games with 250+ pass yards and three pass touchdowns this season- the fourth player in NFL history to have 10+ such games in a season. The other three? Mahomes in 2018 (10), Peyton Manning in 2013 (11) and Tom Brady in 2007 (10). All three of them won the MVP that season. Josh will certainly win this year though.
