Thanks +Phoebe Grigor, the are memorising to watch. The guides were telling us a few of the species are very curious so they swim right up to your face (0:41 and 1:35).
Really nice! Would have loved to go scuba diving when I went to NZ half a year ago! Didn't have the time though... Anyway, great video. The place looks amazing and the colors are stunning! Love your Kiwi life series! Keep it up:)
Hey +Johan Strömer, we didn't actually hear about Poor Knights until we had been for for a while, it's pretty special though. Definitely the most marine life I've seen in one place. We'll keep the episodes coming!
+Stoked for Saturday next time drive to leigh warkworth and go for a dive at Goat Island Marine Reserve there is a carpark .it's hard to explain but there is a beach with a island a short distant away.. right from the shore line there are so many different species of fish, they follow you around, you can see big crayfish, friendly massive snapper, big stingrays,, because it is a reserve there is no fishing so the place is full of fish. one big advantage is it free, www.wildlifeextra.co.nz/go/nz/goat-island.html#cr www.aucklandnz.com/discover/goat-island
Omg. Diving is a simply natrual, and beautiful experince. If i worked for you guys, i think my life would be complete. Keep up the AMAZING work friends :)
Great, video! or should I say great videos! Inspiring me to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. I learned about you guys from the work you did with devin supertramp. You guys are awesome! please keep posting videos these beautiful videos.
Kia ora Jordan. Im a kiwi living in Palmerston North. I just wanna say welcome to you and your wahine to New Zealand (i know you guys have been here for a while). Thanks so much for your videos. they are very classy. Just subbed and followed you on instagram aswell. Btw, do you take your 5d underwater? if so what case do you use? I have a nikon d7000 that just got fixed and a couple gopros. Your videos are so cool, i just do it as a hobbie. i love filming but only edit when i can sit still and no good sports are on tv. Thanks again for showcasing our great country, i hope you get a lota views and subs to get that monetize up. holllaaaa haha Nga mihi, Kent
Thanks Kent from Palmy! We'll keep the videos coming. I have an Outex case for my 5D but I didn't use it at Poor Knights Islands I just used the GoPro 4. The Outex latex case works ok for snorkelling and swimming around but i wouldn't trust is beyond 5 meters or so. Better to get a hard case for that. The GoPro struggled at bit at depth with the lack of light but it did a good enough job that we could make this video with it.
Thanks +grunge man, not sure how interesting our vlogs would be during the week as we both work office jobs. We like to save our adventures for the weekend. We will be doing a few more vlog style videos in the future though. For right now snapchat is the best way to find some daily stories from us.
Thanks +OXS Enterprises, this video was a little trickier because it's was mainly just with a GoPro on a selfie stick and the GoPro struggled not having enough light deeper down. Would have loved to have had a waterproof case for the DSLR!
Wow....!!! Amazing Videos...Happy to find this awesome channel....!!!
Fish are, in their own special way, so beautiful (: I loved this video!

Nice! Those eels are gross ha

Awesome effort still! Maybe some waterproof lighting would help, can't beat a big sensor though!
+OXS Enterprises You're right, a big honking light would have been helpful at minimum. Maybe next time...
how deep did you dive?
Not very deep. I think the max we went to was around 50ft (15m)
about 50 feet on this trip
