For anyone who has the original white box version, you don't need to buy the red box updated core. There is an upgrade kit you can buy that is cheaper to replace all of the changed cards

It looks like the original core box with errata’s. Same core 6 characters, decks are identical.

I have the first edition of this game in its competition and I love it 😭 you should look into RADLANDS as well if you like card games radlands is one of my all time favorites

It’s a game that’s been out for a while, but only in PvP mode. They just released a PVE mode and I have really enjoyed my first play!

@@robkeeley1570 honestly I think there is a way that you could get around not getting the core box, I’m not familiar enough with the game to guide you there. That being said the core box seems to have a ton of value and there is a bundle sale right now on their (Plaidhat) webiste

​@Rob Keeley you could buy some dice separately to avoid the core box, but then if you go back and get the core box later, it would be a waste since the core box gives you a full playset of dice (except for the couple of new dice that got introduced later)
