I was on holiday in Florida about 20 years ago, and one of my son’s bought about £200 worth of trainers and T-shirts when he was 11. We got back to our hotel after a half hour bus ride and realised he didn’t have the bags with all his purchases. Poor kid was heart broken and I was quietly fuming because my wife and I asked if they’d got all their bags with a big “yes” reply. I was lucky enough at the time to be able to afford to go and buy them again and it was a big lesson learned for him😂
Trust me as a Southampton fan our team have been in the Premier League for every season VAR has been in use bar one. You do not want VAR. Last season was so much better without. I know the technology is not the problem, it's PGMOL. But an English ref with VAR is like giving an idiot a gun. Better to stick with on the field decisions.
One season wonders Stephen Elliott at Sunderland 2004/5 under Keane. Scored 15 in the league, got promoted as Champions, injuries ruined his career and never hit double figures again
The real darkhorse would be Sunderland. There are so many unknowns there that they could legitimately challenge for playoff spot or be relegated this year!

My nomination for Championship "one season wonder" .... Ipswich Town 2004-05 Shefki Kuqi's 20 goal season.
PS. Another cracking video ...thanks!
Blade here, their are a lot of good teams in the Championship so it wont be easy for any of us !
Premiership has proven that Var doesn't really improve the level of officiating. It just leads to more controversial var decisions
