- Professor Daynin Dashefsky teaches "Sit On The Head Kimura" with Cindy Omatsu from Ica BJJ Academy & Brentwood BJJ Club in Los Angeles, CA.
This is the #25 technique in her "99 TECHNIQUES" videos that she uses as part of her "ADULT TESTING" for White through Black Belts at her Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii called KAHALA JIU-JITSU which is an Impact Jiu-Jitsu affiliate.
The testing standard between belt levels are different but the testing techniques are the same for every student.

This video/technique has always stuck out to me because my sensei loves the sit on the head kimura too. She’ll catch you in it and jokingly say, “now try and get out.” Hahaha! And of course, your best course of action is to tap her thigh. Sorry for the ramble, I just thought I’d share that story, one jiu jitsu master to another :-)
This is one of my favorite moves. I get so many people in it.
@@thinkjiujitsu99techniques94 I can see why. It’s a very controlling position. The person underneath is like a bug being squashed into submission.
