Operational Amplifiers, or Op-amps, are versatile electronic devices used in countless applications. An Op-amp is essentially a high-gain voltage amplifier that takes small voltage differences at its inputs and produces a much larger output voltage.
let's take a look at the symbol and pin configuration of an Op-amp. The symbol resembles a triangle with two input terminals, one positive (+) and one negative (-), and one output terminal. Additionally, there are power supply pins labeled Vcc+ and Vcc-.
There are various Op-amp models available, each designed for specific purposes. Common types include the LM741, LM324, LM358 and TL072.
Op-amp typically consists of differential input stages, a high-gain amplifier, and an output stage.
