If he'd have it clamped on it would have broke something coming off. They use the rubber intakes sizes so they slip on but don't need a hose clamp, that way it doesn't rip the carb and throttle linkage clean off the bike

Everyone on about the carb like it’s not a normal thing I wrecked my cr125 one time thing was half together threw the tank off of it got half full of dirt put the tank back on slapped the fuel line on started up fist kick and rode the rest of the day
