One Hot Minute is one of my favourite albums. It's kinda dark, it's a bit heavy, the band sounds really great, though they sound less like the RHCP than they usually do. Dave's playing, along with the rhythm section is great on OHM!
OHM is great. I like Tearjerker.

BTW - he should be in the Hall of Fame as a Chilli Pepper, absolute joke he wasn’t a part of it.
Dave is a great musician, i really like his work on RHCP album, shame they only recorded one.

@@Christian.simon08 I second this one. While OHM was a great album, I my personal collection of all RHCP flac, I tagged that album so it won't play when I'm randomly trucking through the RHCP. Josh on the other hand was an excellent fill in, no where near John, but those albums felt like Peppers.
End of the day though, this just proves Dave Navarro is a stand up, genuine guy, and that alone is what matters.
Not gonna lie, this is hella cool that he did this!
I rate Dave pretty highly, I'm a bassist but man, his stuff with Jane's Addiction and the RHCP's is some of my favourite stuff and how he plays on top of the bass and drums is really inspiring!

I got to see Jane's Addiction play a few times. Dave's interaction with the fans was pretty cool and definitely more than you typically get from "Rock stars".
Have adored Mr Navarro for more years than I wish to mention - just a generally great man and a personal inspiration to play guitar. Loved Dave's work since the earliest days of Jane's and have spent the last week trying to nail his epic Three Days solo (hint hint). Plus I must also say that you certainly deserve the kudos in having produced consistently great content on this channel! Oh and the greatest gig Ive even seen - Janes Addiction, Brixton Academy! My thanks and kindest regards to all!

Love Dave Navarro, did from day 1 of the first Jane Addiction album that has totally stood the test of time. He’s such a beautiful soul, stellar musician and very kind hearted person. It’s awesome he reached out. And the work of Duel Diagnosis is hugely relevant and poignant. Wonderful video 🙏🏼❤️🎸

Dave’s the man, he awarded me free tickets in 2009 during the INFAMOUS NIN/JA tour… day 2, Tampa. Simply because I asked. What a guy! Ironically I saw Juliet Lewis once at Sam Ash in Clearwater, FL. Great people make sure that other’s feel great!

This is boss. A couple of years I got into a nice conversation with him on Instagram about Star Wars. Went on over a couple of days and he was - unsurprisingly, as you know - totally lovely. So surreal. To randomly get into a bizarre chat with one of your heroes like that - AWESOME!

Christmas day probably 6 or so years ago I met Dave at Starbucks on Sunset and LaBrea - he was in his murdered out challenger, only celeb I have ever asked for a pic with and he was the nicest dude about it. Total class all around

This is amazing mate, you never know who will be watching your videos. I only managed to see Dave live once in Jane's at an open air festival in Glasgow, I stood right under Dave and was watching him play, but there was a huge mosh pit and I was in the middle of it. I lost half of my clothes and found them later in the mud. It was awesome!

so cool. what a treat for you. I met Stephen Perkins at a Guitar Center drum workshop in NYC back in 2016. I bongo-ed with him for a few minutes in his drum workshop. I was lifted to another dimension while playing!! so fun. Chatted with him after for a bit, told some JA stories. Was playing NYC about 3 hours later. Can you get him to break down his live 3 Days solos..? That I struggle learning.

@@LetsPlayAll oh yeah he told us at the beginning of Been Caught Stealing, Perry's dog, was very small, but had this HUGE deep bark, and perfectly timed a bark when they started recording, and they left it in, because it sounded so great.

I've been a Chili Peppers fan since I was 7, and have always been aware of Dave because of one hot minute, but only recently I really got into Jane's Addiction and it just blew my mind, it made me appreciate even more his work with the peppers. I love the long intro from Deep Kick, how it's kinda reminiscent of stuff from Ritual, like Then She Did.
But anyways, I loved these video cause it showcases how nice and humble, and genuinely cool dude he is. I hope one day he sees thus comment just to let him know what an inspiring person he is.

U should check out band Dave had in-between them in 94', it's called "Deconstruction"...Some claim it's best thing he's done (but personally I think it's Jane's Addiction, which is what he's most famous for)
