Really good breakdown! - I've been playing around with the new weapons and had similar take-aways on just about all of them. Glad I'm not the only one that feels a good bit of them are a tad underwhelming... Especially that new hammer holy emperor.
i'm an avid vermintide 2 fan, has the past few updates made it more fit to play or should i wait a bit more? love your dawi vids btw you made me a real slayer enjoyer
Game's much better than it used to be now, but there's still a lot of stuff missing and I'm kinda hesitant to recommend anyone buy it in this state, namely there's still only two bosses with the Chaos Spawn nowhere to be seen, and the social options are not only lacking, they've been only getting worse with the game kicking you out of the party if you decide to switch classes / enter the tutorial area. You also can't vote to restart the match after failing, which is something that was present in both of the betas. Also we still only have 4 classes in the game compared to Vermintide's 15 at launch. Still, I'd be lying if I said that I don't have fun playing this game. If you can ignore those issues the game is a genuine blast, and it's only been getting better over the last month or so. Tne core gameplay is a masterpiece, always has been in fact, and with the addition of the new modifiers Darktide has gotten much more replayability for both solo players and groups. It's up to you to decide if it's worth picking the game up currently or if you should wait a little bit longer.
that's a shame to hear. my main concern were the classes so i guess i'll have to hold off on buying the game. otherwise i'm excited for when it reaches that point! thank you for answering
best all round melee weapon for a witch is the new mk4 force sword with a slaughterer blessing ... this thing melts anything :) even better than antax/bm combo imho
