This is seriously impressive work. From what you started with to how it’s coming together is mind blowing, especially since you’re doing it with common tools!!
Nice job on duplicating the panel. I'm rebuilding a 64 double cab. A nice old uncrashed rusted relic and one thing that has stood out is these vehicles were not built straight, square or plum. I've had a couple of panels now that I installed were they look good not where the measurements say they should be. The entire rear of the vehicle appears to be 14mm off center of the frame center line. Thats how it came apart, that's how it's going back together
Hi Nick, without to much words,I´m still amezed & Impressed what you acomplice in a few days, just to say that way if you are in a hurry just wait a moment & I produce mirakles while you wait, Cheers mate so Mirakels you surly a part of your knowleds.Greetings The Old 🇳🇱Dutch 🇳🇴Norwegian.Hubertus🇳🇱🇳🇴🍀☮👍🏻🙏🏻🇦🇺
Hi Nick, amazing progress...I wish I had as much time as you 😉. Great reconstruction work again. Probably too late...but I'll see if I have good original measurement tables from the early model.
Nice progress. I see a problem with the valance ends though. Top and bottom lips should flow into the valance lips. I will send you a photo when I am in the shop later. You may have enough material left to cut off the lips and bend new ones. This was caused by not using the most up-to-date drawing. haha Also I didn't add the bend lines for the curved lips. sorry. I just added them so the next person doesn't have the same issue.
The rust dust etc. makes me think you should use a mask every now and then. And maybe a wig!! (Sorry, Nick, cheap shot I know) What is the latest on merch?
Yeh most of the time I do wear one, when I'm not blabing to the camera ;) A wig? I'm wearing a kramer one now ;) Merch coming soon just trying to work out what platform to use?🤔
