She gets exasperated by her subjects' shenanigans. 2:56 - The ever-loyal Toads try to protect their leader, despite being completely outmatched. 3:02 - Bowser goes from "proud dad" to "horrified parent." 3:07 - Luigi fails to read the room, and laughs at the child hurting himself. It's a natural response, but not something a "hero" should do. 3:36 - Mario isn't just a glory hog. Alone against Junior, he's nervous. 4:13 - Luigi isn't happy about having to beat up a child. 4:19 - Bowser could have beat Mario then and there, but prioritizes his son when Junior gets hurt. 4:41 - So Long Gay Bowser 4:48 - Mario doesn't notice Luigi needs help until his bro speaks up, but is quick to lend a hand when he does. That's REALLY good! Mario loves Luigi, would do anything for the guy, but he can get lost in his own heroics.

Man OUTSTANDING work on this! I really love the use of squash and stretch, poses and the camera angles. Especially in the fight sequence. Kept me engaged through out the entire animation. So worth the wait.
I'm blown away by this animation. Are there things that I could nitpick? Sure. What fan project doesn't have a fair share of things to nitpick? But the dynamic poses, the squash and stretch, the fact that Peach is capable of making more than 2 rigid facial expressions (which can't be said of her appearances in the actual games), there's so much to love about this. So many little animated nuances that you don't really see in the vast majority of SFM content out there. Like how Bowser Jr. reaches out longingly because he doesn't want to stop playing his game. Or the follow-through for things like the Bros' mustaches and noses. Very well animated. This gives me some hope that the animated Mario movie by Illumination might be decently enjoyable. Say what you will about their movies, but they can definitely produce good, fluid animation that feels a lot like this does. Even if the story isn't great, at least it'll probably be nice to look at. I mean, this was made by a handful of people. Just imagine what a staff of hundreds and a big budget can create.

My mind is quite blown. I have no words.(Actually I do) Never had I dreamed I would see something as wonderful - as PERFECT as this. I'm a huge Mario fan, but in all the games I've played there has always been something missing. This animation solves whatever was missing, and multiplies it tenfold. I personally couldn't have found a single thing I could've liked better if I searched for my entire life. I've probably watched this about 15 times in the last couple days. Let me just start talking about why I was astounded by this. For one thing, it's the level of care put into every once of this. So many little details it didn't need, but had anyway. For example, the sound effects. The sound effects are used exactly where they are needed, no more no less. Where this shined the most in my opinion, was the Toad cooking scene. Speaking of the Toad cooking scene, you nailed the all of the Toads attitude and behavior. In mario games, they are mostly just adorable, but here they are excruciatingly HILARIOUS! It's exactly how I hope they are like in the upcoming movie. There's one more thing I wanted to praise, and it's the fight scene. Let's just say I could have made this entire comment about the fight scene, but I'll keep it to the basics. For starters, It might just be the best fight scene I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Seeing Mario and his bro fight side by side against Bowser brings tears to my eyes. It's so fast paced but keeps your eyes glued to the screen every time you watch it. My favorite part is when the fight splits up and whenever a certain attack motion is started it switches to the other fight in perfect sync. Also, the Mario and Luigi music couldn't have been a better choice. I wish I could just keep typing forever, but I've got to end somewhere. I'm in disbelief I havent found this channel before recently, and you can believe me I'm going to remember this as the best fan-made animation I have ever seen.
To be frank, I don’t really watch a lot of animation too much, and I wish I did, as there are some brilliant concepts out there. However, there are always a small amount of problems, such as the models being inconsistent, it not appealing to emotions, or the animation itself not feeling too fluent, like they’re ACTUALLY MOVING, making it feel as if I’m watching someone flip through a Post-It Note packet, with it being really choppy...... That said, after watching this animation multiple times......I can’t help but admit that a lot of things work here. I could probably go on about my favorite touches about this, but to name a few: •The characters and their movement feels fluid, like they’re actually moving. This actually increases the impact of the animation, from the jokes to the god-created fight scene. Heck, the PAPER floated down in such a way that actually looked like an actual paper, and that’s a little hard to do. •The models are newer, and with that ground comes new experiences. You now get to test the limitations of those models and play with them a little, sometimes leading to new ideas or scenes and ideas that might have not worked before. Granted, Mario has his look from Super Mario Odyssey, and noting how the graphics there are pretty good, it wouldn’t be too hard to get some of the characters, but it would be a whole lot easier to work with some older models, but maybe not get as much of a payoff as you were able to achieve. •You stuck to laws of physics and lore. Obviously, this is from the Mario universe, but you made some of the stuff here feel like they were who they were. Like, of course Luigi would laugh at Bowser Jr., given how he’s the comedic failure, but Luigi’s more of a shy, sidelines sort of person, so he may not know how to react in that situation. And of course Bowser Jr. would flee after the fight; he didn’t really want to fight (he was happy playing his game), so he’d leave if he didn’t have to stick around (remember...he’s a child). And finally, of course Peach would freak out about seeing the photo, since she’s not really into Bowser, but it kidnapped every now and then. All in all, I’d give you my hat, but I don’t wear any, so a round of applause will have to do. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Easily the BEST animation of the beloved Mario characters to date. A true masterpiece in animation, style, dive into character depth, and even story as anticipation is high throughout the video, full of action and humor. Successful in a way that although is a fan made video, could be imagined as a Nintendo television series or cut scene. I especially enjoy Mario's character being explored more with varying emotions, his relationship with Peach being represented further, Peach's character being expanded from the usual "duller" consistency, and the overall gags that transition so well from one scene to the next. This was FANTASTIC! I have never seen an SFM so smoothly animated with objects outside of TF2. Your fight scenes are on-point and exhilarating, and I love how Mario and Luigi take on some smash bros moves. You manage to capture the essence of the Mario characters so fantastically, and I love the subtle little touches like the voices and expressions. And to top it off this was a funny story with some great scenes, especially those Toads and Luigi's laugh. You are a legend mate, this is one of the best videos I've seen in a long while. And I never thought you'd be able to top Mario's Nightmare but you already have!
This was way better than I was expecting! I took a look because I liked the style, but I thought it was just going to be some dumb comedy video that may have been worth a laugh or two, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the energy, the squash-and-stretch, the humor, and just the overall presentation. I think my favorite was the fight scene with each character showing some great skills and Luigi showing his braver side and skills in battle both when alone and with his brother. And the characters are very much in character. And Jojo-esque flurry of punches between Bowser, Luigi, and Mario was also a nice bonus. I also enjoyed seeing Luigi's Side Smash from Smash Bros.
Deserves WAYY more views/likes you name it this is THE BEST MARIO ANIMATION OF ALL TIME and it wasnt even made by Nintendo themselves gg bud. Also Peach isn't a robot anymore, I can actully FEEL her emotions and the fight scenes are SOO good. Bowser Jr. Is a VERY important piece of this SFM creation in my opinion. If you look at him in the clown car, you see him resting his head on his hand and when Mario and Bowser are throwing fists towards one another we see Bowser Jr. Wake up and assist his father in a combo ending blow. I really like the small things in Bowser Jr's character here. Great job.

My mind is quite blown. I have no words.(Actually I do) Never had I dreamed I would see something as wonderful - as PERFECT as this. I'm a huge Mario fan, but in all the games I've played there has always been something missing. This animation solves whatever was missing, and multiplies it tenfold. I personally couldn't have found a single thing I could've liked better if I searched for my entire life. I've probably watched this about 15 times in the last couple days. Let me just start talking about why I was astounded by this. For one thing, it's the level of care put into every once of this. So many little details it didn't need, but had anyway. For example, the sound effects. The sound effects are used exactly where they are needed, no more no less. Where this shined the most in my opinion, was the Toad cooking scene. Speaking of the Toad cooking scene, you nailed the all of the Toads attitude and behavior. In mario games, they are mostly just adorable, but here they are excruciatingly HILARIOUS! It's exactly how I hope they are like in the upcoming movie. There's one more thing I wanted to praise, and it's the fight scene. Let's just say I could have made this entire comment about the fight scene, but I'll keep it to the basics. For starters, It might just be the best fight scene I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Seeing Mario and his bro fight side by side against Bowser brings tears to my eyes. It's so fast paced but keeps your eyes glued to the screen every time you watch it. My favorite part is when the fight splits up and whenever a certain attack motion is started it switches to the other fight in perfect sync. Also, the Mario and Luigi music couldn't have been a better choice. I wish I could just keep typing forever, but I've got to end somewhere. I'm in disbelief I havent found this channel before recently, and you can believe me I'm going to remember this as the best fan-made animation I have ever seen.

To be frank, I don’t really watch a lot of animation too much, and I wish I did, as there are some brilliant concepts out there. However, there are always a small amount of problems, such as the models being inconsistent, it not appealing to emotions, or the animation itself not feeling too fluent, like they’re ACTUALLY MOVING, making it feel as if I’m watching someone flip through a Post-It Note packet, with it being really choppy......
That said, after watching this animation multiple times......I can’t help but admit that a lot of things work here. I could probably go on about my favorite touches about this, but to name a few:
•The characters and their movement feels fluid, like they’re actually moving. This actually increases the impact of the animation, from the jokes to the god-created fight scene. Heck, the PAPER floated down in such a way that actually looked like an actual paper, and that’s a little hard to do.
•The models are newer, and with that ground comes new experiences. You now get to test the limitations of those models and play with them a little, sometimes leading to new ideas or scenes and ideas that might have not worked before. Granted, Mario has his look from Super Mario Odyssey, and noting how the graphics there are pretty good, it wouldn’t be too hard to get some of the characters, but it would be a whole lot easier to work with some older models, but maybe not get as much of a payoff as you were able to achieve.
•You stuck to laws of physics and lore. Obviously, this is from the Mario universe, but you made some of the stuff here feel like they were who they were. Like, of course Luigi would laugh at Bowser Jr., given how he’s the comedic failure, but Luigi’s more of a shy, sidelines sort of person, so he may not know how to react in that situation. And of course Bowser Jr. would flee after the fight; he didn’t really want to fight (he was happy playing his game), so he’d leave if he didn’t have to stick around (remember...he’s a child). And finally, of course Peach would freak out about seeing the photo, since she’s not really into Bowser, but it kidnapped every now and then.
All in all, I’d give you my hat, but I don’t wear any, so a round of applause will have to do.

Easily the BEST animation of the beloved Mario characters to date. A true masterpiece in animation, style, dive into character depth, and even story as anticipation is high throughout the video, full of action and humor. Successful in a way that although is a fan made video, could be imagined as a Nintendo television series or cut scene. I especially enjoy Mario's character being explored more with varying emotions, his relationship with Peach being represented further, Peach's character being expanded from the usual "duller" consistency, and the overall gags that transition so well from one scene to the next. I have never seen an SFM so smoothly animated with objects outside of TF2.
Your fight scenes are on-point and exhilarating, and I love how Mario and Luigi take on some smash bros moves.
You manage to capture the essence of the Mario characters so fantastically, and I love the subtle little touches like the voices and expressions.
And to top it off this was a funny story with some great scenes, especially those Toads and Luigi's laugh.

04:24 is just so funny for me seeing bowser taking luigi’s head and crushing it on the floor
This was way better than I was expecting! I took a look because I liked the style, but I thought it was just going to be some dumb comedy video that may have been worth a laugh or two, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the energy, the squash-and-stretch, the humor, and just the overall presentation. I think my favorite was the fight scene with each character showing some great skills and Luigi showing his braver side and skills in battle both when alone and with his brother. And the characters are very much in character. And Jojo-esque flurry of punches between Bowser, Luigi, and Mario was also a nice bonus. I also enjoyed seeing Luigi's Side Smash from Smash Bros.
And at 3:55, it’s the first time I see the two brothers doing that.

Bowser Jr. Is a VERY important piece of this SFM creation in my opinion. If you look at him in the clown car, you see him resting his head on his hand and when Mario and Bowser are throwing fists towards one another we see Bowser Jr. Wake up and assist his father in a combo ending blow. I really like the small things in Bowser Jr's character here. Great job.
