I’ve been going to Glamis since New Year’s Eve 1994 as a 12 year old. My dad’s work buddy went for years and we started camping with them. Our parents took us as kids and my dad picked up a two seater sand rail and we enjoyed it for 15 years. It’s been sitting in the backyard for 20 years. Your channel has absolutely inspired me to rebuild and fix it up. Thankfully I have mechanical know how and the financial ability to get it back together. I recently sourced another sand rail with mid-travel suspension and I purchased an ecotech engine for it. I’m putting it together and hopefully will be out there in March for the old school round up, hopefully I can meet you there along with whoever watches this channel. You guys are awesome, thank you for the inspiration, and my now 68 year old dad is excited to go back out to the dunes once again thanks to you guys! Thank you!
That deathtrap buggy is the product of today's leisurely mindset.....everything is supposed to be rainbows and unicorns. Very few people have pride, dedication or shame anymore. Smh...
I don't know if it's too late or not but personally I would love to see a full walk-around of that Volkswagen dealer that you had in this video I would love to see what you guys did with that it seems like a really cool car
Eh...I know a lot of viewers know the common stuff front and back, but there's a lot of us new to what's used for dune hardware. Would really like to know what motors and especially what transaxles are used. I think that was an Acura motor that was painted and rigged to kingdom come but not entirely sure. Would love to know if they have to be built before those turbos go on, and would like to know what trans that thing has. Help us learn please!
Absolutely I’ll definitely do a video or maybe even a video series on different cars and set ups and what they have. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate you watching.
Budy bought a beautiful Can Am all done up just needed stereo had it done took to glamis with wife didnt make it 200 yrds caught fire. Battery cable got wrapped around steer shaft. Wife was really shaking up
At 14;32 . It's not "president day weekend".. it's veterans Day weekend. Also the Ghia was given away at sand sport show 2018.. six years ago, not three . 😂😂😂
@@thelifeoffastony1157 yeah man thanks for the grammar policing.. I know all about the Ghia We built it and I gave it to the new owner on stage at the sand show

Ironic that the circuit breaker caused a short 😂
Some sandcars/buggies really are deathtraps. From structural, wiring, etc.
Glad you fix them and make then safer.

I took my leaf spring that couldn’t be drilled back to camp and drilled it and put a 3/8s bolt in it, sent it the rest of the weekend.
That ghia is bad ass!!
Is axle issues on SXS from to much droop.
Too much throttle..lol
Been waiting for a new video
