I just picked back up my flute after over 20 years because of warching your videos! I am amazed at how much I remember! As to what kind of traveler I am, I need boarding assistance, so I am always there early because you never know if it will take you 5 minutes or 90 minutes to get someone to help wheel you to your gate and then the extra screening they have to do when they see my 2 implanted medical devices takes ages - so I usually get there at least 2 hours early for national and 3 for international - sometimes Im waiting at the gate for hours, sometimes I'm barely able to preboard and get settled.
I just sang in Pops holiday concert this past weekend!!! It was at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops annual holiday show. Part of the Essential Voices USA Choir backing up Jessica Vosk from Wicked (who was headlining). Dream come true to sing at Carnegie Hall!!! Best way to end 2024!! Polar Express - The Choir sings a snippet from the theme music with the Pops towards the end that introduces Santa coming down the aisles. Chills everytime!! OMG Christianne Noll was your special guest singer?!! Love her voice!! My favorite cast album growing up was JEKYLL & HYDE. The original Emma Carew. So beautiful!!! She also was the singing voice for Anna Leonowens in the 1998 Animated adaptation of The King and I.
I started to actually fallen in love on slowly learning my Air instrument known as the Aerophone not sure if your familiar with this instrument. But it's a wind synthizier and was having fun with it. Then life stuff got in the way. But I do miss spending time with it though. I plan on during the year of 2025 though to slowly ease my way back into re-learning it though.
