Thanks for the video. But how did u disconnect plunger-roller guide trust piece and how does fuel index turns plunger if u are just putting it like that. Small bore could be really that different? But still the connection of index-roller guide. 🤯
This Man videos are funnys so that the reality is another because the pump and connections are locked for the fuel oil, what is the camshaft position for dissasemble the pump. In this video all clean beutifull, in my experience is not
why not remove the plunger from the barrel?, you have it all apart anyway, would have been nice to see it, and why are you calling cylinder heads "covers", most car/truck mechanics call these cylinder heads or valve bodies, make it much LESS confusing.
Barrel and plunger should be treated as one body, since its a sensitive part and maybe the heart of each engine.Regarding the calling of the parts, marine engineering having different dictionery from the cars/trucks
Those parts are too clean!
You must lift the plunger and lock it before you pull up the pump

Wouldn't be easier to have a bunch of muscled, oiled covered Greeks rowing a ship?

Don't these things run on bunker fuel? Why isn't everything covered in black goo?
because it's done in shop conditions and this engine either runs on diesel or doesn't run at all
Good
