MOAB 2023: THE TUBES

The Tubes is a one of Moab's classic trails for dirt bikers, it's been around since before most of us ever rode in Moab and it shouldn't be missed. Shot with a GoPro Hero 11. Edited with Final Cut Pro. Check out my other videos on my channel: RIDEFREAKTV.

This trail is actually called Dead Cow Wash just fyi for those trying to search for it.

There's always been argument which was which. Dead Cow and the Tubes. Since this vid shows both Dead Cow and the Tubes ether works. That being said I was first shown this trail by a long time local rider 16 yrs ago, according to him the trail shown in the vid is named correctly and is named incorrectly on some maps and correct on others. Cows routinely exist in the other half you probably consider the Tubes but rarely in this one you're referring to as Dead Cow. Who is correct? Can't say but I consider my source who has shown me some other Moab off hidden gems pretty reliable. Either way both Dead Cow and the Tubes was recently closed in the latest MVUM which sucks, they both a couple of my favorites. Thanks for watching xshift 👍

Thanks zigmog, same reason I shot these, when I can't ride anymore I'll have something to remember these trails, they'll probably all be closed by then, this one was recently close. there's a controversy about the names, the old timers say it's named the way I've shown it but said the BLM got it wrong back in the day when putting the names to a spot on the map. Read some of the other comments. Thanks for watching Lance.
