Madaming filipino sa ibang bansa lalo na sa bansa na malalamig like Canada, Japan US particularly sa Alaska and etc. Naliligo sila kahit sobrang lamig may heater man o wala they took a bath kasi parang nakasanayan na ng mga pinoy na naliligo. Nagkakape nga kami kahit sobrang init sa pinas ehh sa amin kulang ang tatlong kape sa isang araw hahaha

That's so true. When I stayed in Australia for a year (studied there), especially pagsumakay sa bus going to Uni during winter mornings, napansin ko na usually mga Pinoy students lang basa ang buhok.☺️

What i notice first was not your tagalog vocabulary but your attitude. You adapted that Filipino culture of being "happy", i mean most of the Filipinos and im sure you will agree with me, have humorous bones in their body no matter how serious the conversation was there will always have that one friend that can make things around and make it a joke. Do you have friends like that? or probably you are surrounded by those kind of friends, if you do, you are lucky.

Spelling quizzes are fun during elementary days. The requirement is to bring your spelling booklet every day. Coz anytime a teacher will announce spelling quiz. Fun...fun..fun..

About Sugar,during the olden days,Sugar plantation are (easily Grown )Everywhere in the Philippines so that the Cheapest food additives were dominated by Sugar.In every home,or any house, backyard were planted with Sugarcane so every food preparation is not complete without Sugar and one reason why the Philippines was the Asian Country that once dominated Sugar exportation around the World in the early Fifties!

I live in Japan but even winter sorry but maliligo ako kahit umaga magdadamit na lang ako shower room para di nalamig. Di maganda pakiramdam ng pinoy pag di nakaligo.

Marami po talagang quiz. Ako po noong high school sa Catholic school ako nag-aral halos every end of lesson/topic may quiz tapos may monthly tests din, then periodical tests (4 grading periods), then before mag-end school year semi-finals then saka pa yung finals. Pero yung semi-final test ang parang mas major na test. Kaya po nung nag-college na ako wala na na yung shock pagdating ng exams. 😁

When I went to Korea for the first time 8 years ago, my initial shock was the weather. I arrived there in February, thinking winter is almost over, tried to walk from the bus stop to our hotel wearing just a t-shirt, jeans and a light jacket, boy, when l stepped out of the bus, l immediately felt I'm gonna freeze right there and then. Then 2nd was, how accessible the wifi is in almost every part of Seoul, it was shocking that l don't even have to get load to connect to the internet. 3rd was how stylish Koreans are, wearing layers and layers of clothing that make them look like they just popped out of the runway. 4th was the spicyness of all the food I ate, it's so typical to have your tongue get burned, I'll try to think of some more, but that's it for now💜💜💜😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏

I never wonders at all that even summer in Korea it’s not that even hotter like when we we’re in the Philippines. It’s because South Korea is way to far from the earth’s equator mostly Nations far from the earth’s equator their summer weather is still cold above average coldness. Off course Philippines is very near to the equator so is the reason why it’s so hot here. Mostly cold weather in the Philippines is when rainy seasons or during at night when raining.
The only problem we encountered in korea was when we were buying food in streetfood, it is really hard to communicate in english but there is a man who is selling sweets there he is very fluent in speaking tagalog kaya bumili kmi ng tinda nya. In fairness i really love korea esp the cool weather.

Dito sa America kahit snowing outside with temperatures of 18 degrees Ligo pa rin kasi feel ko malagkit na ang buhok ko and feel sticky kaya ligo almost everyday except hair every other day . Well respect if that’s what people practice in every country iba ang practice . Kahit puti / Kano. , heard that they do the same just spray pabango to smell fresh ika nga .ya yay ..

Share ko lang everyday habits of taking a bath in the morning. Sa pinoy it give us the energy to move and fresh feelings. Kung di ka nakaligo may tendency became lazy and tardy behavior. Kaya pala noon nasa London kami lagi ako nanlalamig kasi everyday ako naliligo. Nag try di naligo in the morning pero iba ang feeling. Awkward feeling, uncomfortable, lazy, and sleepy. Sabi nila evry summer month sa europe doon mo sila maamoy. Pati summer month hindi rin naliligo kasi naging habit na nila. ;-)

It is true that Filipinos love to celebrate their birthdays it is because for us Catholics or Christian your birth here on earth is a celebration and a blessings coming from our Lord ! We give blow out but in return dole of our friends or lol bed brought their gifts or share their food like birthday cakes or ice cream with your name and age written in the cakes ! My daughter has a very big memories of her 18th birthday now she is already 28 but the birthday celebration in Intramuros Manila cannot be forgotten ! Thypoin Falcon hitted Metro Manila and all places were flooded ! The 100 percent attendees or guests were reduced to almost 40 percent but even then everybody enjoyed the celebration ! All were wet and two of my daughters classmates slept in the nearest Mc Donald because their car could no longer run because of the flood ! But inspite of everything we thank the Lord for no one is harm and Cale hole safely after the celebration ! A very memorable experienced for all of us ! I hope I share something meaningful !

In Korea it is rude na pumasok ka sa ibang bahay with your shoes on. You should take it off and leave at the entrance. But in the Philippines it is fine to step inside a house with your shoes on. Parang nakakahiya kasi sa visitor na patanggal ung mga shoes nila and we find it rude..hehehe

Isa sa culture shock ko ay sobrang hilig nila uminom haha. Cguro 4 times sa isang linggo. Tsaka ang dami nilang drinking games(maingay pero masaya), samantala sa pinas pag nag inuman kmi mga pinoy super seryoso pinag uusapan.
mahilig talaga kami sa malalasang pagkain ayaw namin ng matabang, depende kung pano lutuin.
tapos about naman sa exams ganyan yess!!! sobrang rami kaya need mo talagang makinig kasi hindi moyun masasagutan tas need mo rin i take note para matandaan mo pati kasi activities sumasabay sa pag rereview mo, eh most of the time pa naman nakakalimot ako tas tinatamad narin ako i take note, tas malalaman mo bukas may biglaang exam surprise talaga

Walang winter dito sa Pinas pero base sa karanasan ko kapag malamig ang panahon lalo sa umaga giniginaw talaga ako pero kapag nakaligo ako mas kinakaya ko na yung ginaw at lamig ng hangin. Sa una lang takot na takot ako magbuhos ng tubig kasi malamig kaya nag-iinit ako ng tubig haha. Pero pagkatapos maligo di na ako masyadong giniginaw

Totoo yung matamis na pagkain. Pati alat actually. Yan naman yung ayaw ko sa sarili kong lahi. Ang hilig natin sa hindi mga hindi healthy ng pagkain basta masarap gora na. Kaya naman, isa sa pinaka mataas sa Asia pagdating sa altapreayon. Maraming namamatay sa highblood. Diabetis. Sana ituro sa mga bata ang ibang diet. Yung more on dahon dahon. Prutas.

Yung sa exams at quizzes na madami, advantage yon. Kasi po pag mas madami quizzes at exams, may chance kaming bumawi kahit magfail yung ibang quizzes. Oonga po pag may birtday sila pa yung bibigyan ewan ko bakit ganun. nakasanayan na ata namin hehe ang galing niyo namn po parang 3 language na yung sunasalita niyo english tagalog at korea 😊💗
