Hokuto now has a girlfriend that he cares deeply for and she is in the hospital recovering from a major life threatening surgery. His conscience won't let him hurt her even if he also has feeling for shin. That's why at the end he asks Shin not to leave and stay.. Hokuto is selfish in that way. He wants it all. And I am glad that Shin stood up and removed himself from this situation again before it went any deeper..

I respect your opinion, but I don't think so. In yaoi mangas, 90% of the time it ends with the straight guy, falling in love with the dude. But this movie is different I think. Hakuto loves Shin like a friend, not like a lover. He getting mad for him doesn't "prove" that there is more to it. I mean, in real friendship it is like that. SO am I. If anyone does shit to my dear friend, I will turn to a Hyena. No matter the gender and/or my sexuality. But I also would have like a different ending where we are told what it became of them. But unfortunately it is something totally typical Japanese. Open endings. I hate them.
