Thanks for the blessing. Working closely with the contractor to re-build. Should be back to normal by the middle of the summer. As for your build let me know what help you need. As for any pointers, get rid of the original chassis and pick up the LCG from traxxas. Much better performance.
Badass!! Loving the slipper clutch, tighten it a teeeeeenie weeenie bit needs a tiny bit of spin from start point when you gun it fully. Not so much that it spins out though. I am protecting my driveline too by loosening my slipper and getting more traction as the tarmac is not grippy and all my 4x4 Stampede does is wheel spin in one place but not anymore it goes in a straight line and ges to top speed quicker.
In this video I am running a 12 tooth pinion and a 54 metal spur. Yeah. Agreed. I thought it sounded wicked. Currently working on the LCG chassis for it.
Just shortly after this video was taken we made some changes and it was clocked at 72. Not bad but it should go faster. Have nor worked on it since. Hurricane Sandy trashed it but I plan on making this the first project when the shop is re-built. I ordered the LCG chassis. Should help get the speeds above 80...

@barnabyray11 Yeah. Pretty big. Fortunate to have it all to myself that day
@theDeltaboy84 Thanks...
The list is virtually endless. Any boy that has a wheel base of 324mm or 12.75 inches. Most SC bodies from proline and on road bodies from Protoform.
@mumforddale1 lol. Promise. Next time out I will have a garmin onboard and one of my buddies using radar for comparison...
@PARlatoyaPAR Cool...
what type of body has the same wheelbase as the slash 4x4 ?
Ony a 12t pinion, if you went up in teeth & tightened down your slipper more, that baby could be wicked.
3500 vxl
