This one followed that 70s pattern of archfiend with a percussion instrument. There was Satan's Triangle, Mephistopheles' Maracas, Lucifer's Bongos, and my own personal favorite, Beelzebub's Glockenspiel. Be there, music lovers! 🎶🥁
@@AH-rl9ev yeah, I wanted to play the drums, but my school band already had too many drummers, so over the years I played trumpet, flugelhorn, mellophone, and French horn.
I remember watching this as a kid. Doug McLure was a fine actor. I loved him in the people that time forgot and the land that time forgot. I loved all those movies back then where they found mysterious lands on the ocean or in the earth. They were the best! Doug wasn't in Journey to the center of the earth but that was also one of my favorites. I wish they would make a excellent remake of that movie. If I remember correctly Satan's Triangle came out when The Bermuda Triangle was all the rage. You don't hear much about that anymore.
I loved all the stories & read books on the Triangle but I missed this one. Don’t know why. I too loved Doug McClure movies. The 4:30 movie after school. When we took the Disney Cruise & touched the Triangle we did hit crazy weather out of nowhere. People running from the dinning room to be sick. 👻
So pleased you guys put these shows on TH-cam as well for people outside USA TV land - watching in England on a Sunday night, relaxing before work tomorrow. It would be great if you could get Bill Shatner on the show and play his movie The Horror at 37,000 Feet - it's right up this channels street - 70's supernatural horror film, made for TV. Please keep up the great work.
I saw this movie back then and it scared me as a boy. Now, years later, it's still a little spooky. Well done! Doug Mcclure made some great movies, many Creature Features.
This movie is like a special horror episode of The Love Boat, where the guest stars are the dashing Doug McClure, the beautiful Kim Novak and Satan as himself. Saturday night.....fright night....be there.....if you dare!
Damn! This movie was and is awesome for made for TV. I remember watching it on a movie of the week or whatever back when it first aired. Scared the bejesus out of me then and still does now. It was incredibly well done for the time and didn't insult the intelligence of the audience. Years back I searched and searched for this because I couldn't remember the title to save my life. I am pretty sure I found it on TH-cam possibly. I just remember finally finding it and watching it in terrible resolution on a streaming channel. It may have been a "bootleg" but couldn't find it anywhere else at the time.
I finally got up the strength to see this. I saw it on television when it first premiered. I was horrified. I was rocked to the core by the satanic evil. I don't know why this film hit me so hard. Maybe because I was nine? I'm really enjoying it now though. Something about the image of the dead priest hanging from ropes right at the start..... I think the audience knows early on that this is going to be unpleasant.
Fun fact, The preacher played by Alejandro Rey was best known for his role as the casino owner and playboy Carlos Ramirez on the television series The Flying Nun (1967-70)
I love this channel and seeing all the cheesy movies I saw as a kid. Would like to give a shout out for our local horror host at the time in Richmond, Va, The Bowman Body. Glad to see there are people out there with some imagination still! Wishing you sleepless nights at the haunted mansion! 👻😈💀
That laugh and twist really got to me when I was a teenager. Seen this movie a couple of times over the years, so I knew what was coming when I watched it here.
I'm a new subscriber. Your show caught my eye as soon as your intro played with all the classic movie monsters and senes. At first a thaught the show would be lame. But when I saw you and the creepy girl and the grumpy butler. It reminded me of monster madness that aired back in 1955 to 1988. Only I caught it in 1977 and I was hooked on classic horror films. As a kid of age 7 was into all things from comic books to classic horror movies. The ones that aired hosted by caractors I'm costume were the best... from Elvira mistress of the dark to the Cript Keeper on Tails from the Cript. Then when I was your show here on TH-cam It took me back to those good old days befor HD and internet. It was so much fun staying up late watching Friday Nite Fright Night. All the classics from the Invisible Man to the Creacher from the Black Lagoon. I love your show. Dew to health problems I was forced to retire at the age of 52 insted of 65. But im a very talented musician and artist. I am a huge fan now. Keep up the good work. I live in the beautiful fingerlakes reagin of up state NY. Near the very heart of ghost stories and legends and sightings of cripteds such as the Rake and the Windego. Things that go bump in the night happen alot. Oh I remember this movie we used to have a local celebrity that had a sat. Night scary movie show. time passes but the movies linger on as a welcome diversion away from the daily dose of crap in every day living, I like the hosts very much and they are a great way to spend a sat. Night, stay as you are, you are well thought of at my home.
This one is so scary, truly unsettling with a pitch perfect cast hitting their marks. I have to be up for this one though, it's creepy! But I get Livingston Tangela and Vincet here. Super great cast in the movie and I love the 3 Creature Feature peeps. So fun watching old horror classics with these hosts and all of you out there watching too. Love.
I'd quite forgotten about the Partridge Family.I was very young when it was on however I have read plenty about the Bermuda Triangle 📐 devouring Charles Berlitz, his books not the man's body! That helicopter pilot was the sargent in Hill Street Blues.

I see that William Reed Woodfield wrote this. He along with his partner Allan Balter wrote for the first three seasons of "Mission: Impossible" as well as produced the first six episodes of the third season before being fired.
Thanks for the slice of nostalgia. This is one of the better offerings in the Satanic Sub-genre and while it is tame by modern standard’s, is a fun time capsule with a solid ending. I wasn’t allowed to watch the live action Partridge Family for one reason or another, but was allowed to watch the terrible cartoon version, it’s weird that my folks thought Satan’s Triangle was fine, but a tv series about a family of musicians was verboten. It’s nice to hear that Brian Forster found his true passion and is doing well. The intro for this channel is pretty darned good, best to you and yours.
What a great movie 👍I probably saw this one five times plus , thanks 🙏 you Vince and the team ,from cairns Australia 🇦🇺,best unique show in the world keep going for many years to come 🙏😎💕💕
Standing by and ready to be entertained. Livingston... Please take notes from Tangella's naughty cuteness and crack Vincent over the head with a shovel. Bury him in the backyard and get on with being the real stars of this show!
This was pretty good for a TV movie from the 70's as most ABC Tuesday Night at the Movies were. I remember this and watching it with my dear recently departed mom, and being a little creeped out at the age of 12. I was 12!!! Where did the tome go?
First 1/2 hour of film so much dramatic, action-packed and suspenseful gum-chewing. at some point in the 70s, i guess film makers must have really thought that aggressive, intense gum chewing added to an actor's performance.
The look on Haigs face when he realised it wasn't a beautiful blonde he had made love to the night before, but in actual fact a man... Dam that McClure could act!
This reminded me very much of the movie "Immanence" from 2022. Despite low ratings of people, that was really a movie i liked, as it had more clues than this one, on what was going on, if you were observant. I love the trend of that in movies in the past 20 years, i think Shaun of the dead was the first one.
Get the priest into dry clothes.' Yet he retains his wet clothing. Unbeliveable. Unprofessional conduct of the coast guard towards the surviving woman.

The last ten minutes of this film are positively terrifying...one of the best tv movies of the 70s.

I'm impressed how fast Kim Novack got her hair and makeup done after falling in the ocean. My wife could take lessons.
Fun movie and great guest! Partridge fam and Bermuda Triangle were pretty big deals back then!

I was in early teens in 80s and watched it with my elder bro on tv. It was scary but the end twist in the heli got us jumped out of our seats.
