Your passion for cycling is infectious! You’re inspiration for all of us that throw a leg over a top tube and ride. It’s great to see my two favorite TH-cam ladies in one video!
Katie! I met you at the start and also on the top of the bus at the end - you were such a gem. AND NOW I KNOW WHY YOU WERE SO GODAMN FAMILIAR! BECAUSE I KNOW YOUR TH-cam! I hope the early start and bikepack home was good to you. Take care!!!
Thank you Katie for an inside view of the Alpe. I crashed my road bike a month ago and have been banned from riding outside after collarbone surgery. The Dr. told me to start riding indoors the day after surgery. So Zwift it is! Zwift has been a lifesaver. Can’t wait to ride the Alpe on Zwift and on the actual Alpe. Thank you for joining with Zwift and for your positiveness. You’ve helped return me to health and keep me in shape in the most fun way possible!!
Your videos are so emotional in a good way - you manage to get across genuine feelings and it is special - keep up the great work - it is appreciated and makes a difference 👍🏻
It's your best video of this year. More than Miles and miles on a bicycle, your power to do videos and interviews with this powerful woman enjoying this beautiful sport is by far the best content that you can do. Thanks so much and keep doing it!
I just LUUUV your accent, your positive mind and beautiful smile. Great to follow your adventures on the bike. GREAT videos. Go Katie. All the best, sent from Denmark.
Great to see Lou - and so lovely to see you re-make all those connections. It was a great race and your look behind some of the scenes made it so much more real. Lovely!
That was simply beautiful Katie! Seeing you and Lou together on the climb it almost felt like I was there with you both, thank you for bringing us along. 💖 - Bob (Toronto Canada)
Great effort and really like the jerseys all of you had. Crazy Lou is always entertaining for everyone around her. She posted some great vids on her channel as well. Great how there were fans at the end slapping the barrier panels.
TdFFAZ has been so incredible I can't describe how it makes me feel... Proud, acknowledged, happy, just wowo :) What Zwift & Kate have put in this race in terms of trust and support is just amazing and I can't thank them enough for it. So for now, I can't wait for next year's edition, and RIDE ON! 💖
So, Katie, I guess you love cycling? Your words at 15 min, with the awesome backdrop into the valley had me nodding in agreement, wistful and a bit moist in the eyes. I have my own memories from riding across the Alps [in 1990]. We by-passed Alpe d'Huez, though. Super!!
The more women on bikes the better I say. Also the more women that feel comfortable riding with men also the better. Too many egos in men’s group, or there can be. Women seem to know how to make it fun more but can also be competitive at the same time which is perfect 👌🏻😊
Such a lovely video, thanks for sharing Katie. Great interview with Kate from Zwift too, what an amazing woman. And the race… probably the best race I’ve seen this year. Felt sad for Demi, super happy for Katarzyna and my fave Puck got a stage win 😊
Hi Katie, By coincidence I listened to’Never strays Far’ podcast this afternoon. They were saying what a great TdF avec Zwift this was and discussing increasing the number of days racing. Think 10 days was mentioned, which I think would be great for the teams. Loved the video by the way, you meet in up with Lou and the series across the Alps. Thank you so much.
Alpe D'Heux ! You'd nail it with a double puncture, headwind through a hail storm ! 😁 Great news, found a section in the Garmin ! "Critters" ! Click on it, detects a bed bug sends out a ultrasonic noise, humans can't hear, drives bugs insane. Will flee ( flea ) the bed en masse. Maybe one for your "What's The Story Garmin Glory" inventory :) Couple of years time, Women's TDF will be virtually on a par with the men's ! 3 weeks long, but "Parade" onto the Champs Elysees, 2 rest days, days where the longish sprint days are rode, shall we say relaxed till the final km's ! Great series of Alpine vlogs Katie, wonder if that young kid made it to the top of the Glandon in the rain ! ☀️ 🐿
It's happening Katie !!!!! 😎🎸 😎🎸 Definitely, maybe........ 😂 * Why is it whenever you upload a vlog of you being "battered & bruised etc" the views Sky Rocket ? 🚀 😕
What a brilliant video, I really enjoyed watching this. You captured the energy and excitement around the build up to the final iconic climb up the Alpe so well. It looked absolutely epic and I could see exactly how much it meant to you being there and soaking it all up. P.S. Nothing is as big as your cassette 😂.
Katie!!! What an epic year, what an incredible turnout. I'm so stoked that you are able to experience this, and grateful that you share this with us. Kudos! 🙌🏾👍🏾👊🏾
Purée j’ai eu les larmes aux yeux 🥺 ! Je suis parisienne, mais j’ai pour projet d’aller en Bretagne l’année prochaine spécialement pour suivre le Tour de France femmes ❤❤❤
Love the kit. In my opinion, and based on memories of the 70s and 80s, a bunch of cyclists should look like a flock of parakeets going past. Today with the inexplicable and dangerous all-black look, they too often look like a cortège at Cruella de Ville’s funeral.
Much better than the other day (ouch). Very cool to catch up with the original women's TdF riders. Has to be thrilling for them that the TdF² avec Zwift has been a banging success. Thanks for sharing...hey, are you doing the September AdZ ride? Love to participate. 🚴♂️🤯🚴♂️
I stayed on switchback 6 on Alpe d huez and rode it almost 3 times in one day. Because I was on #6 I didn't want to do the last few switchbacks. It sounds impressive but I couldn't break an hr up the climb.
Agree with your friend. Women’s race is better, just like women’s football tbh. Gutted for Demi. What are your thoughts on how her team responded to the crash?
Katie just out of interest do you still adhere to a high carb diet, if I remember from earlier videos of yours you did. Would you also be willing to get into how your nutrition has changed now compared to your rides from earlier times?
when I saw Demi Vollering ride across it touched me... again. What an experience to loose the Tour despite being by far the strongest rider in the peloton - only because her own team betrayed her! I grant Niewiadoma the win, she also is a great athlete - and she did nothing wrong; but that the SD Worx team abandoned her leader after the crash, even the very team mate who caused the crash, and didn't gave her ANY support to get back into the race - that was the worst display of sportsmanship and team spirit I have seen for many many years! ...tbh, if I had a say at the sponsor SD Worx, I would stop the sponsoring of this team because of the bad PR...
Brilliant video Katie and thanks again for pacing me!!! Mega interview with Kate, I love her so much! 💖💖💖
Anytime 🤠💕
Lou, one of these times you need to join KB on one of her "Ride Across..." adventures. And no, you can't choose Texas.
Thankyou so much Katie for sharing this event, I never knew it existed.
@@malcontent_1 hahaha but I love Texas!!!! And yes Katie and I need to ride again soon! 💖
We love you Louuuuuu
Well done! I climbed L’Alpe in ‘94 the morning the Tour finished at the top. It is one of the highlights of my cycling career.

Great story, Katie! The excitement was infectious!
Great, inspiring video! The accomplishments, the love and the feels.
Being able to say "I get to" instead of I have to when referencing work is amazing!
One of the best stage race finales I've seen - must have been incredible to be part of it.

Love your enthusiasm, I get it. A great climb, great atmosphere and lovely place. Shame Demi’s team let her down earlier in the Tour.

Lou's series following this year's TDFFaZ was excellent, co-starring Rhian, Rob ... and ALLISON 🍔!!
🤣🤣🤣
Great finish to the race... Loved riding up there, the descent would be awesome after a stage like that....
Very cool. Would love to visit out there someday. Ride on!
Amazing episode!! This event is so cool, everything about it is so inspiring!!
Keep up the great work Katie your awesome🚴🏼♀️💨

Love the real ride videos. Rode the celebration ride on Zwift in an hour fifty. Was a bad day for my health, but the ride was fabulous.
So good to see you!!!! :)

Great vid Katie. Thanks for sharing. Go woman’s cycling!! PS I love your sunglasses ……think they’re Oakleys. Which ones though? ❤️

Hiya Katie,
At 2:30 you're showing your Garmin. Can you tell me what datafields this is? Or is this only available for the 1050?
Well done Katie lovely views ❤
Cool shirts. Hope you were able to keep yours.
I stayed on switchback 6 on Alpe d huez and rode it almost 3 times in one day. Because I was on #6 I didn't want to do the last few switchbacks. It sounds impressive but I couldn't break an hr up the climb.
Love all of your videos. Will you please slow down the filming of the descents so that we can see all of the wonderful views on the way down.
I don’t even consider myself a feminist - but listening to the women who rode in Tour de France made me tear up. Oh my gosh I felt badly for Demi!
It's the 'je ne sais quoi'!
So would like your thoughts; which is harder- the Alpe IRL or on Z? I’ve done both too…
Agree with your friend. Women’s race is better, just like women’s football tbh. Gutted for Demi. What are your thoughts on how her team responded to the crash?
It’s so good isn’t it?!! Hmmm it’s a strange one… no idea what happened. What are your thoughts on it??
Katie just out of interest do you still adhere to a high carb diet, if I remember from earlier videos of yours you did. Would you also be willing to get into how your nutrition has changed now compared to your rides from earlier times?
