It’s a good day to be good. Next time I’m standing in a group of coworkers or member friends I will remember, it’s a good day to be good. Stand out, speak up and trust in the Lord that Christ has got my back.
What an uplifting sermon. Amen and thank you Elder Klebingat. God sent his spirit to visit and know me in a very deep and dark prison. But he did not visit me to condemn regarding my extensive sins. Rather he ignored that part and lifted me up to a fair and well lit place. Yes he bid me to repent, be baptized and receive his holy spirit. By his kindness I know that all men are my brothers and sisters. And judgment is Gods. How am I gone from trespass to forgiveness, a bath and a gift of his spirit. Why am I not destroyed instead. Who blesses their enemies like a favored friend and a seat at the table. I am undone.
I was so excited to hear he was going to speak today. Excellent talk. A question I had coming into conference, he answered in his talk. I’m thrilled it was him. He has my complete admiration. Our ward still talks about the things he taught us when he visited our stake. He did a Question Answer session and it was neat. Now I keep a note on my phone for questions for a general authority if I ever get the opportunity again. I’ll always be a fan for his diligence in being a disciple of Jesus Christ. He is just what he spoke of in being a true disciple. He is a wonderful example for us all in doing the harder right instead of the easier wrong. He ministered to my teenage daughter that day he visited Othello-that we will never, ever forget. It’s a good day to be good.
I still think about his visit to our stake too. Jorg really connects with people in a profound way-- I've never forgotten the things he said to us in Stake Conference years ago.
This talk was one of the most memorable from April of 2022. If we could only engage our souls in this precious gift of moral agency, how much different the inhabitants of the world would be? And yes, if we would take the Lord's entrusted, formal, living servants to be our standards bearers, and Truth revealers and acknowledge that they are the formal key holders for the true and living God here and now, oh what a difference it would make to the inhabitants of this seemingly forgotten sphere! Thank you for this glorious message and for allowing comments, it is my witness that these are eternal truths and I do it in the name above all other names that of The Christ, Jesus
God's commandments are such beautiful, and liberating things to provide eternal hope for the salvation of our souls. Showing our great love for God, and our spiritual brothers and sisters, are the greatest commandments, which can help us not only to be 1 step closer to world peace, but also 1 step closer to becoming like Christ. Great talk!
A profound point is made with the statement that more than life being a contest between God and Satan, rather it is we and our use of the gift of free agency that is to be seen.
