His shot at 3:04 is the most impressive shot from this game in my opinion. To catch the ball above his shoulders and just rise into a jumper with no dip is incredibly difficult, especially a 3-point attempt at that. He made that look too easy.

No, the main reason was that the Hawks got 49!!!!! Free Throw attempts in this game the Nets got 19 attempts. The average FTA in this season is 22.5 Attempts per games for every team.

There's always a story to stats. Free throws aren't just equally rewarded to both teams... fouls have to occur, and the Nets need to get their shitty ass defense under control.

Top 75 is an understatement. He is definitely in all time top 15 (along with Curry, Big O, Jerry West, etc.) and probably top 5 in terms of talent.

Curry was the player he needed with him, so that he could get the weight of scoring all the points off his back. He is def top 15, with Curry, LeBron and they've dominated the 2010's I say he's top 2 in talent with Kobe.

He would RUIN 50s-00s basketball. If you just plopped ‘22 KD into any other era (including the sacred 90s), he would hang 5-8 threes before defenses realized what was happening. Taking any great modern player and placing them in the past ends VERY POORLY for teams from the past. KD is a better basketball player than MJ was. Now that doesn’t make KD the “Greatest” player ever in any way. MJ is probably the “Greatest” ever. Lebron, KD, peak Kawhi and likely a couple more modern players are BETTER at basketball though. Those things can both be true simultaneously. People don’t seem to understand that distinction at all though.

in terms of overall talent, i will put this man up maybe top 3, 2, or 1 for real. No 7 footer in history of basketball can handle a ball like a guard, pull up 3s, make contested and impossible shots, in a high efficiency and consistency in his career specially he’s coming from career ending injury. One thing who can stop KD is his fragile body and himself. Again, in terms of talent.

Tells you how bad defensively this era is, kd is a great scorer but even people who nobody knows are getting 40 to 50 point games. Teams this year defensively are letting the opposition score over 107ppg and thats just the Boston Celtics who have the best defensive rating this year.

He can do more but it's his consistency that makes him a great scorer. It's kinda pointless to score 70 in one game, then your casual scoring is 15 ppg most games.

Because they have literally no help. I think people forget how good the Nets team last year was. Jeff Green, Shamet, Harris, Cabarrot. These were all solid dudes who could play D and help offensively. Thats why even with just 2 of the big 3 playing, the nets were still contenders. These guys are all gone now. Harris is injured. Other than Kyrie and Durant, you have no consistent production.
