Ran it on the 18th of July second time on it and just as amazing as the first. Finishing the video we saw some of those rigs in the video while we were there. That's AWESOME, Thanks for sharing.
Black Bear is one of my favorite trails and was on my trail bucket list when we built our Jeep. While it is often difficult to capture the "feel" of a trail on camera, you did a great job depicting Black Bear. Thanks for sharing.
Cool video. We’ll be back in Lake City in a few weeks. With a little time up there you get use to the heights. Can be unnerving for some. Beautiful country.
They are trying to close the road.Who is they?Where did you hear about this possible road closure?Give us some more info please. Thanks. Great video by the way.
The most dangerous thing about Black Bear pass is tourons in rentals. Always has been. Imogine far more fun and scenic. music as if you're killing the rubicon trail. You skipped sticking your heads in the waterfall up there at the switchbacks? That is a rite of passage. lulz Great footage though!

I went down right behind them in a stock Rubicon, was probably easier time than they had. 1) lower center of mass is a bit easier on camber, 2) the switchbacks were a lot easier. The worst part is the stairs. The switchbacks are scary because of the drop, but not hard. Unless you are in a long vehicle :)
Awesome video. As usual reckless people are ruining it for others. Since I don’t own a Jeep and likely won’t. And being a passenger is a non starter. Maybe I will walk it and video others driving it
who died and how did it happen? that's probably considered a un maintained county road .The sport of 4 wheeling has been over run by people buying a 80K jeep and thinking they can operate a off road vehicle. just like the ones who buy high performance cars and think they can race
This trail is just something else. I think it’s on everyone’s bucket list. Be safe out there 😊
Really like your gladiator and the name of your channel just cracks me up!

Thank you so much! It truly is difficult to capture exactly how it feels. It was on my bucket list as well and so glad I got to knock it out.☺️
LOVED this trail! Can't wait to go back & do it again!!
I bought a Jeep Gladiator too! I absolutely love mine. That trail was intense. But also beautiful.
It really is!

Thank you. I think I just need more shelf road practice to get more comfy. Lol
Love the video. Not as good as being there but l know the trail so we'll it brings great memories back.
Nice run and great perspective filming on the switchbacks
Thanks! 👍
I just did Imogene yesterday. So pretty up there. Honestly, I was nervous as hell. The road crews have my deepest respect.
Oh, for sure would not want to be one of the ones cutting those roads in. 🫣😭
Great video😮 I bet it was tough making the turns with the long wheelbase ❤
Yes it was!
Love your blue heeler! We have 3 of them.
Thank you! We have Jake & Elwood The Blues Brothers😂
What a great video and amazing day!❤ so glad we got to share it!!
So glad we got to share it with y’all as well!

At 5:24 my feelings exactly on that trail. I've done it a couple of times and it's just not fun for me.
I like the challenge of over overcoming my fears. So if I get the chance I’ll do it again.
We had to back up? ONCE? Just asking?
Do you know what the rumors are for estimated date of closure? I’d like to make a trip out there with my family before it’s too late.
Unfortunately they aren’t really saying a whole lot about dates. 😕
Maybe try to find a longer Jeep to take on that trail.
I’m looking to take a limo next time😂
When was this filmed? It was closed in summer 2023 but not sure if they opened back up this year 2024?
Just ran it July 26th-ish, 2024... so it's open
Nice job on the video!
Thanks!
😂 best jeep model
Cool video
Thanks! 👍

Great footage though!
Great photography, one of the best I've seen of Black Bear Pass.
Thank you I appreciate that!
Im going there next week.
Have a blast! 🤘🏽

Looks like a stock jeep might be able to ride that trail. Not quite as easy and maybe more time consuming.

@@Retired_from_TX 1:35 is this you in the black Jeep? 2:07 or are you the one behind the black Jeep?
@@J.Young808 2nd black Jeep behind them.
@@Retired_from_TXI agree a stock Jeep would take this trail on with ease. Just a little slower on the steps and much quicker around the switchbacks.
Stock jeeps do this trail all the time....
A 2 door jeep will fit those corners a lot better.
For sure, but wheel what you got.🤷🏻♀️
They are really trying to close it?? People are so soft. People die everyday of diabetes but they didn’t close all the donut shops.
Awesome video. As usual reckless people are ruining it for others. Since I don’t own a Jeep and likely won’t. And being a passenger is a non starter. Maybe I will walk it and video others driving it
Would Def make sure my brakes are good 😂
Has anyone said you look like Brie Larson?🤩
That’s for sure! 😂
I’ve never gotten that one actually
Rad
@6:56 a Mink runs across the trail in front of you.
So much wildlife up there!
boobi!!

I've never seen a Liberal off roader . interesting
I never seen a Trump sticker on a jeep?
@@Brayfrait Or a Kamala sticker for that matter, But I do have an RFK sticker on mine.
@Brayfrait im in California and i have seen lots of Trump stickers on jeeps.....
