Miss Manny says she wants to travel to my house, She is tired of only getting her pointer finger done, and listening to Greg and feels she deserves a full set, and share a couple cold beers!!!! Greg once again you have amazing skills and thankyou for sharing. ;).
U have been so helpful in my nail career thank u.. 😍 I keep going practicing bc I just know that one day I'm going to b as good as u... Well not as good but my goal is to get there one day.... 🥰
Thank you so much for many this video. I wanted to understand how to do my nails. I’ve been working on it for a few years. Now, I understand where I was wrong on creating the nail itself.
Ok so I have a client with “bird beak” shaped nails what is your suggestion for stress point fractures she wears xl stilettos do I move the apex forward more or back more
The stress area/apex should always be positioned in the center of the natural nail. To find where the stress area should be, look at the nail with no product on it and lightly press down on the free edge. You will see the area behind the smile line turn a lighter/whitish color. This area is the stress area, so any time pressure is put on an extension, this is where the nail would be prone to breakage. You want to make sure this area is built up thick enough to support the XL length.
I'm having issues with sculpting a shorter stiletto/almond pinching the form to a shorter length makes the nail tilt upwards, how do i counteract this?
There are several reasons... The bond between the acrylic or gel to the nail is stronger than that of glue and a tip, so the nail is less likely to separate at the free edge if the glue breaks down. Additionally, acrylic or hard gel is stronger than the plastic tips so a full acrylic/gel nail can be more durable than the tip with overlay. Also, tips are a "one size fits most" service and not every nail will fit a tip, so with sculpting, you can customize the nails/forms to fit even wide nails or flat nails.

Very informative! Could we see this same shape/length being sculpted with gel? ☺️
It’s the exact same process 💜

Beautiful 😍 You make it look easy! Do you ever find it easy?
Beautiful shape💕
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for watching! We hope you learned something new from this video on stiletto nails for beginners.
I’d love to see technique on how to apply gel to the cuticle area but I keep getting told they can’t.
Are the towels you use reusable? If so what is the best way to clean them? Worried about the acrylic wiped on them ruining the washer.
No, they are not reusable.
Question..why do you guys prefer to build the free edge instead of gluing on nail tips?
There are several reasons... The bond between the acrylic or gel to the nail is stronger than that of glue and a tip, so the nail is less likely to separate at the free edge if the glue breaks down. Could you demonstrate on yourself?? Reason being is I do my own nails and putting a form on with my non dominate ✋. Thank you ❤️ your videos!
We have some great videos using our non-dominant hand on our TH-cam channel😊
Another thing is I like the long square "old school" shape so when putting the form on I have a difficult time on the pinching the form too narrow 🥴
😍😍
Greg, please make your brush in smaller sizes. It’s truly the best brush I’ve ever used but I really need sizes 8/10 pleaassseee
I second this! I need a size in between this one and the metal handled acrylic brush.
I don't think I've ever built the tip first lol. I may have I just don't remember lol
This is a beautiful shape but not for me. I can’t wear long nails. I still want to do them for the fun of it lol. Thank you for sharing this.
