Love the 296. Despite all of the "non-Ferrari" comments about its powerplant, every video has it talk the talk and absolutely walk the walk of a brilliantly engineered weapon of a car for a driver to enjoy and that, with that gorgeous body, is everything I want a Ferrari to be. Thanks for letting us ride-along Ben, can't wait to see the Challenge race.
You know something I’m really surprised that you’re videos don’t get 1000s more views than they do. There’s no BS with the stig tells you exactly how it is 👌
Ferrari need some more Ben content... c'mon Raffa... Hook the Stig up with more collabs... Mr. Collins sir, top notch job! Awesome 20 minutes spent. Thanks man.
Love the steering, gas, brake graphics! Adds so much more to an already fantastically informative narration by Ben. This is as close to actually driving this car as possible without actually driving it. Thanks Ben 👍🏻
Im going to get ripped for this but its meant in a positive way. im really hoping you drop the "former stig Ben Collins" thing soon and just be Ben Collins, talented presenter / youtuber and automotive journalist. Yes, the stig was how you became known vut this is a different chapter in your career and im seeing a bright future, no need to keep looking back 🙂
Boom !! Mega Job Ben !! I know it’s a privilege to drive something like this but I’m sure they valued your opinion on the machine because if there is anyone who knows what he’s doing it’s the STIG 🤟
Ben should seriously develop this channel and his own show and present on his terms in his style. As the Stig his talents were grossly underutilized and underpaid. He's as good as Chris Harris in presenting and phenomenal at driving
The absolute best looking car. I had hoped that the SF90 line would get the latest hybrid tech, and the 296 line would be stripped down lightweight sports car (with a manual - fingers crossed). Maybe someday they'll have a road legal 296XX (since the XX designation doesn't mean anything any more) based on this that can be the lightweight pure sports car that we deserve.
Ben, you're on another level! This video is so enjoyable, and to see the Ferrari guys thumbs up when you pulled in says it all! Marvellous commentary, too, full of info and impressions. Awesome, and I'm sure your 'working on it' will succeed! Cheers!
This car is so cool and it's fantastic hearing you talk about it . There are bots in the comments please look out for generic ones with women profile pictures that join hours ago and report them.
So a good while ago on a classic Aston Martin vid I commented - really like this roving reporter role for you Ben, and you’ve continued to nail it growing and evolving into quality vids like this. Top work young man!
So glad your keeping raw driving content alive.. focusing on the car, the sound and driving the sh!t out of it rather than all these other “reaction” style TH-camr videos with a camera pointed at their face while they cruise along 😴 💤
What a great car,a very insightful review putting us in the driving seat, just technical enough to get an understanding of the technology and overall car performance. Great that you got to drive Ferrari test track and took us with you. Thanks Ben for the adventure 🎉🎉
Hahhahaha…. I was in the yellow Top banana in Formula F1rst when I raced against you back in 94! Still get gip from the broken wrist from your flying wheel and suspension at Brands hatch! 👌🤣
@@BenCollinsDrives The access Ferrari are giving you is impressive. I've not noticed any other youtubers going to Fiorano to test all the latest toys. Do you have connections from the Top gear days?
Was surprised how Frikadelli was able to pull off that win at the N24 in 2023 in the 296s first year racing, after watching this it now makes a ton of sense
Ben another awesome video, you are a natural talent for car presenting 😊❤. This place is just perfect for you, and Ferrari they did proper job making proper racing car ❤
A yellow racing car with AC - I can’t help but be reminded of May in the racing Aston Martin Vantage without AC, spraying his bits with deodorant. Looks a lot like the Corvette Z06 (except this goes round corners) :)
Would be great to see a full uninterrupted push lap. Those cuts to a drone camera every few seconds really break up the immersion. Other than that great video as always!
Ben, how about you set one camera continuously for a whole lap? Any camera will do. Just set it on screen, and leave it alone for a whole lap. You can talk on top, that's fine. The current 3s per camera-angle constant flipping non-stop is too much ADHD. Thanks!
Saw recently a CGT that did 7.12 on the track that shall not be named after putting Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires it made me wonder what an F40 would pull on this track with new tech tires. It would just be really cool to see the progress of the F series lap times Ferrari has made after removing the tire tech from the equation.
The way you can just chat away like it's a voice over, while ringing the neck of a Ferrari race car is quite something. I guess that's why you're the Stig! So... When's Top Gear relaunching with just Ben and Chris Harris, given a blank cheque to do whatever they want and make a proper car show with no dumb stunts? If there are any competent people left at the BBC, I'm not even joking. The right answer was under your noses all along...
Ben is a natural presenter, he was wasted as the stig
Thank you
No, he wasn't. He made the Stig legendary.
He’s probably been wasted a few times since 🤣 🍻🍾
He was The Stig?
@@cupidstunt22 one of them with the old Top Gear.

Him and Tiff are 2 peas in a pod. Smart and can drive the wheels off anything.
We _all_ know Tiff was an early Stig ;-)
i would pick 296 over sf90 or superfast any day
@@denisk886When you have the money to afford a 296, you wouldn’t have to choose lol. I would have BOTH an 812 (likely a comp), and a 296 GTB.
@@danieldickerson4838 812 comp is like 4x 296 price
@@denisk886 nah sf90 looks better, 296 looks disfigured by the aero bits
This is how it’s done, great video Ben.
Appreciate it!

Much appreciated!
The sights. The sounds. The commentary. Loved it! The last lap with pure sound was fantastic too! I think this is your best video yet!
Awesome, thank you!
The drone pilot knows his stuff!!
Needs to moonlight in Ukraine! [for the Ukrainians, of course]
Yes the pilot is seriously talented 👍🏻
Yeap nearly gets too close at times
Huge props to whoever mic'd, mixed and mastered the in-car audio. Very fun to listen to on good headphones.
As an Italian, thanks for all these Ferrari contents!
My pleasure!

THE BEST STIG driving a Ferrari. On Ferraris track and he's thanking them. I think they need to thank him
One of the best on track videos I’ve watched in ages!
A full 15 minutes of hardcore track action? YES PLEASE!
Some say, when Ben talks, god listens.
Assetto Corsa Competizione really nailed the sound on this one. Uncanny how well it is represented.
ACC’s exhaust/engine notes for most, if not all of its cars is spot on. The best in the business.
Boom !!

So nice of you
Ben is on a roll!
Thank you, love your work!

Crazy how Top Gear had a world class presenter for years hiding in a suit

Your channel is seriously underrated, Ben. You deserve way more views (which I'm sure will change), awesome job.
I appreciate that!
More videos should be like this🙂 So good
Absolutely love the racing content! such a capable car, i’m very jealous you get to drive these 😅
I thoroughly enjoyed that, cheers Ben
That’s a wicked car and some awesome driving skills. So cool to see you working with Ferrari I bet it’s a dream come true
Another brilliant video, great presenting, great camera work, great editing, great car, great location. What more can be said? 🤷🏼♂️

Datz one sweet car..
Sounds much better as a combustion only car. They should release this for the streets minus 200kg hybrid junk

I would buy my first Ferrari if Ferrari offered this non-hybrid version for the street

We need a timed lap to compare to the test drivers!
Ben but would you daily the road going version? Or weekend drive it?
How does this compare to the GT3 version of the racing car?

Red suits you.
