This method really works! I just got my first 300. 319, in fact: 30 Yellow, 56 Blue, 45 Green, 34 Orange & 34 Purple with four Foxes. It took a while, a lot of trial and error to figure out the timing and proper dice selection. A few times I got close but ended up with a blue or yellow box not checked off or something. Then, the first time I ever managed to get every box I needed checked off I only scored a 294 because my Orange and Purple totals were too low (you can imagine my frustration). But I persevered and got there eventually. Thanks for the video!
I have, but the strategy for that game is not as straightforward. Dealing with the silver dice relies on luck and can't be planned out as methodically. I would like to make a video for that, but haven't yet.
@@piqsid Yeah silver is mostly the issue. U will need all 5 foxee plus all +1's for the +1 bonus and at least 4 dices under white or grey each time you take grey or white to put on grey to get 400 score . Also in yellow it is wise to go for 3/4/5 row and 6/3/4 row and to skip the rest. Made it to 380 so far but never been able to hit the 400+
Good luck trying to pull this off in a multiplayer game. The passive dice you receive are statistically much worse than in a solo game. I've never been able to do it.
@@piqsid thanks for the video, I found it really helpful. I did 306 in a multiplayer game in real life (3 people). I discovered that in contrast to a 1-, 2- or 4-people game, you get 1 free dice more per game in a game of 3 people (3 active, 2 passive and 5 rounds which means 5*5=25) so it increases the chances of breaking the record. Of course, luck also plays a big part in this.

Very comprehensive and articulate explanation imho. Best wishes from one Dave to another. :)
Just one correction: you are not allowed to place the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 after a 5 in the purple row. Only after a 6 you can place any number you like.
Wow thank you. So many times ~250 to ~280, best result 317. Sometimes i push to hard on blue in the beginning 😀
I tried this for hundreds of games now... I still don't manage to get above 250... And it is so extremely luck dependent...
Great. Thanks. I'll try this next.
Could you do the same for Clever 2 and 3?
Do you also play twice as clever?

I will comment here again when I have crushed my friends
