I'm honestly not sure why these comments are all so negative. The content here revolves around a niche community, fashion isn't for everyone. I'm not too into fashion myself, but I think there are other things I can learn from Anna aside from fashion related things, and I enjoy listening to her share her views and thoughts.
I agree with this I wish I had the money to subscribe and watch this Anna wintor is confidence boost I never knew I needed Anna isn’t just a fashion inspiration she is a overall inspiration for many different reasons
@@AckzaTV 43:00 minutes of this lecture is really accessible without paying much of a cost bro. Of course knowledge is gold, so, those who have gold can buy knowledge, those who know how to use their knowledge will get gold.
Thank you MasterClass for hosting this event. Anna Wintour’s leadership style and MasterClass has been a monumental building block in my own career as an interior designer and photographer. Cheers!
I love Anna Wintour's classy dressing. I thank you all for your time and enlightening others with your wisdom. May g-d bless you and your family always.
Love how Anna Wintour talk her views on balancing life and works, and i found out that she is a caring & sensible person that she can easily read the essence of an art with heart. Art Genius.
Anna Wintour and Hammish are fascinating and unique people. Loved watching and listening to their stories and wisdom. Anna's thoughts about clarity and making quick decisions. She credits learning these skills from watching her father work. It was fun to see a softer side of Anna when she talks about feeling fortunate to be sheltered in place with her family. Her description of watching her spring garden develop was lovely. LOVE the Madonna story and that Anna took great joy in featuring Madonna on Vogue's cover...several times. I see great respect between these two...this was fun, thank you!
Go to a well known technical school that offers internships in the industry. As a result of these internships and their individual talent, both of my daughters are very high up. One in fashion, (designer/dept. head, famous name designer) and the other a graphic designer and self taught photographer in the music industry, both in New York. The younger one incidentally, photographed the Spring campaign of a well known designer last week.
Anna speaks to a fashion industry that is at a crossroads. Transatlantic flights to fashion shows leaving carbon footprints, fast fashion that winds up in landfills, the never-ending theme of consumerism-more, more, more. Fashion provides many jobs and couture is wearable art, but at what point do we all need forgo fashion to save the planet?
I think it's starts with the individual who purchases in addition to companies finding ways to recycle fashion (i.e. Nike and shoes etc). You can send a powerful message by how you consume. Every time we swipe that c/c, we send a message. :)
@@malovina can’t agree with you more. I don’t and haven’t bought fast fashion for a long time. I buy good quality to last, I get things altered to fit me, I take good care of clothes and shoes and I donate them or recycle them. It’s all about what you do with your purchasing power. The individual is responsible for what they buy.
@@malovina thrs a limit to what individuals can do. At the end of the day, it is fashion companies who have the production capabilities and power to do the most. Recycling is seriously ineffective and is greatly limited. It’s the fashion industry’s responsibility to start cutting back, instead of believing the long drawn out “vote by your dollar” principle (we dont have time for that)
Insightful. I learned a bit more about Vogue and the challenges the fashion industry is facing now. However, From what she says we can expect some changes in the future which may move away from the norms we know. I think the fund for young fashion designers is a great idea. I agree with her, the pandemic has given us reflection time and more importantly time for ourselves and family. I took some pointers on her leadership style too. Thanks for sharing.
Well half the time people just hear what they want and don't really listen then feel deceived. Anna is pretty blatant and direct lots of the time but that makes some people uncomfortable.
Really enjoyed the video, but the zoom quality is terrible. With such poor lighting, Anna needed to tone down the kabuki look with such poor lighting. I hope to see a Master Class with my favorite fashion editor, Grace Cuddington --- soon!
The subscribers with Masterclass are off...over 600k subs but only 6k views after 6 days...something tells me subs have been purchased. P.s. this was dull AF
In Brazil, we are making terrible mistakes in our clothes. We are having very warm wheather. People are dressing with hot colors like black, red, yellow and synthetical fabrics. We need natural fabricas like cotton and more white and blues colors. People are in bad moods because of their wrong way to dress.

All I hear is a conversation, "I had a conversation" .. "I had a conversation..." I had a conversation".... So.. is leadership a conversation or action? or both or Anyhow, I am writing this in 2021... so finally, some just carried on as normal. What was the change? Besides being distant. Social distant fashion. Ohh and sustainability. Whatever?
No one who blusters on about "conversations" (Such as Meghan Markle) ever really do ANYTHING actually. They just word-salad their way into the movement thus appearing to actually contribute and "do good" Hollywood elite, fashion elite, and "influencers" (gag!) are all so hypocritical. Vogue is a shell of what it used to be. Anna has weakened in her role at the helm of the magazine. Not to mention how she cast out Andre Leon Tally. Vogue magazine is great birdcage liner.

A great chance to listen to Anna Wintour when she can sit still and not be in such a hurry to do what she does Best. I enjoyed this interview. ❤😊
I totally agree upon treasuring originality and uniqueness of one's expression of inner creativity. I'd clap to Anna Wintour's words 👏👏👏👏👏

Huge respect for Anna Wintour . They say how ruthless and hard she is but I believe she is much more than this . Dense and complex woman.
Preparation, work team, anticipation, the lady said it all!!!
I am glad this was suggested. May learn a few things. Wish Vogue and others Happy Holidays.
refreshing and honest conversation, great content. I found it very enjoyable.. Keep the conversation going!

Watching this video, I understand why I have not subscribed to a MasterClass.
I got a subscription to all of them as a gift. Some are great and some are quite dismal especially considering how successful these people are.
This is an interview… this isn’t remotely what an actual MasterClass is like.
We don't care ...
And Madonna rock and rolls. Thank you for putting Madonna on the cover . ❤
