Hey Chuck, thanks for the tips on installing a channel drain in front of a garage door. I installed mine the 3rd week of October and it's working well. I even have the downspout tied into it and it's handling a portion of the roof water. Also, I watched your video of if water can run up a slight incline without a pump, and my outlet being lower than the inlet, it works! Also the downspout surely is putting more downward pressure.
Thanks Chuck, I've gotten down to 12 feet with a hand auger that slips down over the main shaft and you pull the auger itself out without removing he main shaft....I have to travel about 150 miles to where I'm drilling the well so I cant haul in hat much water...wish I could! I'm in clay now..lit would probably take several ibc totes full of water to get to 40 feet alone....wish I could go that method...I'm now building a cable tool rig...oh by the way, look into a wash down valve, it has teeth on the end and it designed to fit on the bottom of your well screen, that way you can keep the depth where you're at without changing the pipes and worrying about cave in
hat you pumped in to cut looks great im only curious not shure how long you ran that pump, but isnt that the same water that was sent in to cut the ground with? has to be hundreds of gallons of it right? just asking
Mr. Chuck , Thank you so much for the valuable tips on drilling a well. I live south of the Jacksonville, FL area 1/2 mile from the St Johns River. Any way to find out if this is "doable" (water table info). And if it's not too deep for me to try something like this.? I appreciate your assistance. Thank you again. Keep up the great work!
Chuck, off topic but hoping you can answer. i’m in sandy soil. Can a french drain be installed right on the sheet water drip line? Should catch basins be added to increase flow? And, how deep should the french drain be placed in northern cold, snowy, freezing rain climate? Thanks if you can answer. ❤
That was AWESOME, Chuck!!

What mud pump? What characteristics? Where can you get one? Is it affordable for one well?
