i have just bought a Discovery Sport late last month and I must say I am very happy with it and I have been wondering what the many complaints about LR and Jaguar cars were about. I must say initially after having made the purchase I was worried I might have got myself into the unhappy situation of those unhappy owners and an expensive mistake. I also feel that Tata GROUP IS VERY CAPABLE AND RELIABLE AND IT WILL NOT LET DOWN A GOOD ASSET IT HAS PURCHASED. TATA HAS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND GOOD TRACK RECORD IN THE AUTOMOTIVE AND HIGH TECH BUSINESS. I am now feeling more assured of thE purchase I have made and I have been secretly longing to upgrade my Discovery Sport to a Land Rover Sport in the near future as it appears to be the best and most prestigious SUV in the world at this time and I, think in the many more years to come. DONT BE BIAS have faith in your own judgement and people you trust. LONG LIVEJAGUAR LAND ROVER; LONG LIVE TATA. PLEASE CONTINUE TO GIVE US JOY IN YOUR TOP QUALITY CARS.

Its still is, they imported body shells and other parts from the UK to be assembled in India and just for the Indian market and possibly nearby nations, most countries get UK made ones

Here is something interesting, two years ago on 8 different flights in the u.s. Four of my flights were delayed at least one hour because of instrument panel problems. Guess where almost every commercial jetliners instrument panel is built? China, sorry but the quality will never be there!
I think range rover sales will drop substantially when the people find out where they are made. They do not have a good record and are expensive to fix. A lot of electrical issues. Most people don't know that you cannot get on a commercial jetliner today whose instrument pane manufactured in China. last year I was on three domestic u.s. flights that were delayed because of instrument problems. The metalurgy,the quality control is just simply not there!
