Ferguson left an indifferent team which would not have won their last premiership title without Ferguson’s management. What was needed was a complete rebuild but instead the last 10 years have seen individuals being signed creating a patchwork quilt of a team. Instead of building a new team all the focus has been on trying to avoid a few relatively bad years during a rebuild and the result has been a lack of real progress, a management merry go round and an indifferent inconsistent team which is little better than when Ferguson left.
15:00. The board, again, are going the wrong way at this. Fixing or redevelopment to the stadium should he least of the priorities. Recruitment strategy and a new manager that understands the failings of the last 10 years is what's required.
Ratcliffe taking over the football side of things is a positive note. But it won't change a thing. The Glazers are the problem, they are genuinely bad for the club. You can't expect a 25% owner to spend all that money unless the Glazers give up on taking dividends from the club. Unlikely
Another factor that contributed to the downfall of Man United is the fact that they prefer to serve the stars instead of the managers. Let's be honest, if stars like Rashford,Sancho,Martial,Antony,... were playing for teams like Liverpool, Man City, Tottenham or Arsenal. They wouldn't even last a season, too egoistic, absolutely no work ethic yet somehow still crowned as the "future" of the team. Harry Maguire was not a good player, but he put in great effort and had passion for the club, unlike these clowns.
Mourinho was the right manager with the wrong players and wrong ownership. Mourinho would have been best to come in directly after Ferguson. But ultimately United fails because they are no longer run by football people.
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE ABOUT UNITED AND THEIR FANS RIGHT NOW IS THEIR TRIVIAL PREOCCUPATION WITH INDIVIDUAL STARS RATHER THAN THE ENTIRE TEAM PLAYING LIKE CHAMPIONS LIKE HOW THEY WERE UNDER SAF.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 This say your clueless About what is really going on re the club. United main issues are greedy money hungry maniacs re the glazers. British board members who uses NEPOTISM to bring in thier over rated country men and gives them big wages along with player power.
Pretty sure the decade when we lost half our squad and got relegated from the first division was a little worse than this past decade. Perspective guys! It's been horrid, no doubt, but far from "the worst decade in our history".
A lifetime spent breaking rocks in a gulag would not pay for his crimes against United...agree whole heartedly agree that Ed ruined us to such an extent it will probably take us a decade to recover from his incompetence.
You have won a new subscriber starting from today! You have hit the nail on the head and there's nothing more to add. You are absolutely "a million percent spot on"!!!! Totally agree with you. You've said it all.👍🏽
Ole was good during his time. The author seems to have an inherent bias against him. He finished 2nd once, 3rd once, made 1 final of Europa league, 2 semi final of Europa league, 1 Fa Cup semi final, 1 Fa Cup semi final, 1 Efl Cup semi final all in 2 full years in charge. Had we backed him and given him his signings like arsenal did with arteta it would have been different.
It is even better ths season.....I had a wreck during Moyes time, the last days of Mourihno, towards the end of Ole and almost died during Ralph Ragnicks days,. ETH made me a man again last season. He has had a very poor start that has left us in 6th place, 7 places behind the leaders and 4 points behind 4th place after all the issues we had. Luke and AWB are back....We expect Lisandro and Casemiro next month, and if SJR spends as they say he plans to in January, we might just nick top 4 and the pain of UCL will have desisipated. After then, we will begin to experience the much better days of a functional structure of Sir David Brailsford and the marginal gain theory, CEO blanc and the master in transfer biz Paul Mitchel do thier magic. It will not be easy but a great departure from the dark days when Glazers and his Proteges like Ed wood ward, Richard Arnold, and John Mortough ran us down like amateaurs. These will all rub off on ETH and his squad and our dutch tactican will have the peace of mind to do his magic again on the pitch. IT WAS A POORLY RAN CLUB FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS.......SJR might just be our last chance to change our story from bad to good....We can only hope and pray so.
Saying this last decade is the worse in Man Untied history is a bit dramatic surely the 70s where worse, they won a European trophy this decade. 5:47 and by toxic you mean telling the shite players there shite and winning the leagues
Sacking LVG and hiring Jose was one of the worst decisions the club ever made. Van Gaal was actually building something slowly but surely, also he was in tune with the academy. I wish he had better defenders and a lethal number 9
15:03 "the players and coach on the same page" is like saying "the only thing you have to worry about when watching toddlers is that they might die at any given moment" Ten Hag needs control and sage council
fun fact: i work as an accountant for a north american based private equity firm. It is company strategy to buy businesses, take out debt against those businesses, using "future earnings" as collateral, have the PE firm pocket the cash to go buy more firms. leaving firm XYZ to barely cover their debts and run their business. (see: Toys R Us in the US). I believe this is what the glazers have done to Man U.
SAF interviewed players families not just the player, he was such a good judge of character, Ed Woodward had to right to be in charge of utds transfer targets. The Glazers have to take the blame.
Very well put out video but what new CEO are we talking about? If it's Richard Arnold, then he has departed the club this week. And the confirmation for a new CEO is yet to be ratified (Jean-Claude Blanc the increasingly likely candidate). Hopefully it's the dawn of a new era as you said, but unless SJR finds a pathway to gaining full ownership from the glazers in the near future, it'll be very difficult to envision significant change. Be interesting to see how it all pans out, though.
It took SAF 4 years to win a trophy and 7 years to win a top flight title He most certainly had some heavy losses in that time but the club stuck by him. Managers these days have no chance unless they win in their first season
Things are looking good, we went from Arnold, Murtaugh and Fletcher to Berarda, Ashworth and Wilcoxx. They´re building a proper structure, the rest will come after it.

Sir alex being involved in the initial years after he stopped coaching was the first real big mistake. United is a company, no place for sentiment for sentiments sake in coaching appts.
If they haven't sacked Mourinho and sold those bums i.e. Pogba, Martial and Shaw he would have brought better replacements at that time with the likes of Milenkovic-Savic, Perisic, and Danny Rose, United would have been challenging.
Really...Danny Rose that Ole alienited at Spurs....Really ...where does Rose play his football today.....Even your so called outdated and unsustainable Mourihno had to openly confess and said this to Shaw after the Euros..that shaw who is presently one of the best left backs in the world today, proved him wrong and made him take back his words. Is Perisic better than martial even presently?...How many goals has he scored..His is pulling trees at spurs and when was the last time MS made the front page of Gazette delo sport in Italy.. You must be Mourihno hiself...!!!
@abednigoobadje9157 You're just a Mourinho hater 🤣 which winger at that time can cross!? No one! He had Lukaku upfront and no one was crossing from the wings to take advantage, he had to rely on set pieces and Fellaini. That's why Peresic was needed. Rose back then was better than Shaw and he wanted Rose over Shaw.
United fans are also to be blamed, they know how delicate the situation is and a huge amount of time is needed to fight for trophies again and they are againg making the same mistake of going against the manager. Give Ten Haag some time, he will do his job
Nobody wants to talk about Fergie and his mammoth ego. Both he and Bobby Charlton would not permit José to become manager in 2013. Sliding doors moment.
Y'know, as Barca fans who the club more or less in the same position as United (hell we were in even worse position with that debt and Messi departure) I think the one reason why Barca could win that La Liga title is simply going back to their identity. It's a watered down of tiki taka with some modern tactics for pressing the opponents. And I think Man Utd identity is that a club that simply never fucking give up. They didn't have the most star studded line-up even in Fergie era but what they did have is bunch of players who willing to do anything and sacrifice everything for that United badge. United needs to finds those type of players. One who proud wearing that red shirt. I mean, look no further than Ronaldo. He has achieve everything in his career but the look on his face says how proud he's wearing that red jersey again.
We are all going to feel an awful lot more positive in a few weeks time. Proper people are coming in to run the club. ETH is doing an amazing job this season when you look at how many top players have been injured all season.

i think jose mourinho would have worked if they had backed him properly in the transfer market it's a joke of a club now i can't watch them anymore it's just a mess that no one wants to try and fix
i have to say i agree with everything you have said with one thing you somehow declined to add, that is player power, under Sir Alex their was no player power, some how it krept in through the back door, it must be driven out, i have been saying for years now Sir jim radcliffe needs to get involved and buy the club, now finally he is here, so i am quietly confident, i will be proved right, again, i just hope we finally unload greenwood, he is as toxic as hag and both need to go, asap,

😂😂😂😂😂😂
This say your clueless About what is really going on re the club.
United main issues are greedy money hungry maniacs re the glazers.
British board members who uses NEPOTISM to bring in thier over rated country men and gives them big wages along with player power.
most underrated youtuber I've ever seen ngl the editing was beautiful props to you
Awesome video bro, cant wait for future content
Thanks, more is coming soon
Pretty sure the decade when we lost half our squad and got relegated from the first division was a little worse than this past decade. Perspective guys! It's been horrid, no doubt, but far from "the worst decade in our history".
We went down in the 70s but the football in the 70s was brilliant. Tommy doc would of won the league for us if he could of kept it in his pants
A lifetime spent breaking rocks in a gulag would not pay for his crimes against United...agree whole heartedly agree that Ed ruined us to such an extent it will probably take us a decade to recover from his incompetence.
I have said This many many times before. That The Ed WOODWARD. Was The main problem at United With his Board members. 28
This is quality content
Thanks!
The Glazers are the real villains for hiring Woodward.
This content had changed my life! 🎉🎉
You have won a new subscriber starting from today! You have hit the nail on the head and there's nothing more to add. You are absolutely "a million percent spot on"!!!! Totally agree with you. You've said it all.👍🏽
Thank you! I really appreciate it
Ole was good during his time.
Its quite embarassing being a United fan these days
Great Video
Thank you!
Great Analysis, thank you
Very insightful
Hey man this was a really good video, subscribed. Big up bro
7:14 what music is this?
Does anyone know where the coaching staff that worked with SAF and were let go by moyes at now?
Saying this last decade is the worse in Man Untied history is a bit dramatic surely the 70s where worse, they won a European trophy this decade. 5:47 and by toxic you mean telling the shite players there shite and winning the leagues
To say the last 10 years has been the worst in United’s history shows you don’t go back too far bro
That thought crossed my mind. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and td myself he is limiting himself to the PL.
Sacking LVG and hiring Jose was one of the worst decisions the club ever made. Van Gaal was actually building something slowly but surely, also he was in tune with the academy. I wish he had better defenders and a lethal number 9
15:03 "the players and coach on the same page" is like saying "the only thing you have to worry about when watching toddlers is that they might die at any given moment"
Ten Hag needs control and sage council
I cant get my head round a world class manager telling a world class striker in a top level club to not hit the ball first time. Wow
fun fact: i work as an accountant for a north american based private equity firm.
United should have sold pogba and few other players and stuck with Jose.
Man, Junuzaj under Van Gaal was a bright light in the darkness. I would take that now over the dross we have now
He shined under Moyes.
Can you please do a video on AC Milan's downfall? Similar story, an European giant fallen from grace
It took SAF 4 years to win a trophy and 7 years to win a top flight title
He most certainly had some heavy losses in that time but the club stuck by him. Managers these days have no chance unless they win in their first season
I remember Ed Woodward was seen watch Tennis at Wimbledon instead of working to sign new players.
Things are looking good, we went from Arnold, Murtaugh and Fletcher to Berarda, Ashworth and Wilcoxx. They´re building a proper structure, the rest will come after it.
This seems like a great up and coming football documentary channel. Got my sub. Keep at it mate, hope you get famous ❤
Good video man first comment
Thanks!
@@YoungSimbaFootball As a Japanese I have the perfect solution. Sack Ten hag and then
Hajime Moriyasu here we go
"untold"??? We (Manchester United fans) know the story
With INEOS we already went from Arnold, Murtaugh and Fletcher to Berarda, Ashworth and Wilcoxx. With the structure in place the future will be bright.
👋 Just stumbled upon this video and I have to say, your editing skills are on point! 🎥👌 The way you've put together this Manchester United video is top-notch - it's engaging and informative. Just a shame it's a load of bollocks
We remember Diablo now 😅
Manchester United=Dallas Cowboys
Why do you sound so familiar? I swear I heard this voice on a different TH-cam channel before. Anyways good vid.
I'd just like to point out that the man at 1 min into this video is not David Gill...
Wrong pic of David Gill
Sir alex being involved in the initial years after he stopped coaching was the first real big mistake. United is a company, no place for sentiment for sentiments sake in coaching appts.
4:32 red Tottenham badge?
As a United fan I feel for the Coventry fans, you were the ones that deserved the place in the final. United was absolute 💩.
13:29 idk why anyone thinks that’s the definition of insanity because it’s not and Einstein never said that either
We are all going to feel an awful lot more positive in a few weeks time.
Proper people are coming in to run the club.
ETH is doing an amazing job this season when you look at how many top players have been injured all season.
You only have to see greenwoods face when Jose is giving Pogba a deserving talk to know he's a spoilt brat
A good pod but if you went back a few more decades you would gind they have had worse periods.
Refund signing Haaland for 4 million pounds????!!!!
If Van Gaal was given more time for sure they would be champions.
I stopped this video after 11 seconds, after "The worst decade in united's history" Come on they were formed well before 1958. Try checking the 30's or to a lesser degree the '70s,
Agree, they’ve won an FA cup, 2 league cups and a Europa league title - hardly the worst decade in their history
i don't know how fergie was able to keep on winning titles and even a champions league under the glaziers ownership
Fixing the club is just impossible
We are here for the beginning of a legend!!!!
Moyes destroyed the club!! LVG is a clown!!
i think jose mourinho would have worked if they had backed him properly in the transfer market it's a joke of a club now i can't watch them anymore it's just a mess that no one wants to try and fix
Hard to defeat City Football Group......I doubt Sir Jim can do that..
The Glaziers, the fish it rots from the head
How can it be the worst decade in their history when they got relegated in the 70s
90% of all titles won were bought.
i have to say i agree with everything you have said with one thing you somehow declined to add, that is player power, under Sir Alex their was no player power, some how it krept in through the back door, it must be driven out, i have been saying for years now Sir jim radcliffe needs to get involved and buy the club, now finally he is here, so i am quietly confident, i will be proved right, again, i just hope we finally unload greenwood, he is as toxic as hag and both need to go, asap,
The main problem is the two bandits, Joe and Averell Dalton.
I don't blame the players or the couch or the people who check tickets any of this staff IT STARTS AT THE TOP AND IT STILL WILL THEY ARE CALLED GLAZERS. THEY DIRECT THE CLUB IF THEY DONT DO IT AND SET STANDARDS THEN THE REST MISS FIRES. SO stop blaming the staff put it where it is due.
That wasn’t David gill
The 1970s were a worse decade for United imo
Who is responsible ? The Rock of Gibraltar
Dude, look up how to pronounce foreign names during production. Just a thought.
Sounds a lot like what’s happening to Bayern at the moment, businessman with 0 football knowledge need to keep out from football
WATCHING MARTIAL SAYING TIME TO GO jose mourinho NOW ITS TIME FOR YOU TO GO WHAT A WASTE OF A PLAYER
and some idiots still thing we should sack Ten Hag and bring De zerbi and we'll be
challenging for titles this video is a tight slap for those people
Sneidelin was signed by Fergie not Moyes, also Ferdinand left before Fergie retired why you lying dude🥵?
