Spearfishing SOUTH COAST RSA | A Local Shore Dive

An indecisive mid morning shore dive on the south coast... I arrived at the spot and water looked average with the morning sun's glare still abundant. I decided to send the drone out just to have a quick look see.. CRYSTAL! The water was like out of some sort of paradise movie.. Jumped into my wet suit and swam straight to the point in hopes of finding some resident white water species. The tide was turning low fast so we decided to swim out to the reef, straight into some shad. It wasn't long before we bumped into a massive shoal of big Kob. BANG! After landing the fish I headed out to get myself some crayfish.. also bumped into a treat on my way to the crayfish hole! Local is lekker!

That fish at 1:30 is what we call a Jewfish or Mulloway over here in Australia. Looks like you have some similar species.
