Great movie l remember it well. Only one alive, amazing.
Been watching because of Esmond Knight 😊
Talk about PTSD: Reenact the battle he fought in and the shell hit that cost him an eye.
He was the man! I'd love to know what he felt, having to re-enact that moment, 19 years on, portraying his own Captain.
What a beauty Dana Wynter was, ironically born in Germany.
Damn that girl was pretty
Great film, riddled with inaccuracies,
+rogerarthur6571. The _Bismarck_ did _not_ open fire first at the Battle in the Denmark Strait, just for starters.
So?
@chrismaguire3667 so ? People watch films and believe them that's why, like the American garbage that said they captured the enigma machine.
@@rogerarthur6571 True, but the Yanks like to think they won everything.
"Sink The Bismark" was made soon after WW2, and the incident was still fresh in peoples' mind, and they needed a fillip, so these films, like "The Dambusters", ect, were their "feelgood" films.
But I expect you know that.
@@chrismaguire3667It was one of, if not the last of the old- school docudramas which British cinema really excelled at, before the next generation of high budget, American funded movies began, typified by "The Great Escape", "Where Eagles Dare", "Guns of Navarone", "Dogs of Death", etc. Very different fare.
pessoal aparentando serem mais velhos na época do filme .
Great film! But despite the disclaimer at the beginning, I'd say that dying was a very definite life change, wouldn't you?...
só sobrou um 😶
Ernest Clark - was his only contribution to say "Shoot!" about 8 times?
This year’s cast reunion not much of a gig, then
No excuse for humans!!!!! 💕 🤗 💕 😊
You are one,,so you are implicated. Merry Christ-Mas!
