God damn. I do the anti snag trick with the flash too. It really helps in shore aplications. It also gives a fly fishing air that me likey a lot haha. I also upsize the hooks and when vertical I bend the knee (GoT reference). I also pass the hook point on a sand belt and make it blade like. No way out for the fish. Pretty dangerous for my fingers but hey I not into jigging for soft hands...
I Change the assist on all my lighter ones but I use store bought assist hooks because my fingers are to fat for this mate I just watch these vids to try to push me to DIY😂
I agree with you, it is a very good jig but they have a big defect and that is the paint, it falls off just by looking at it. I apply a little UV resin to make the jigs last longer.
I did it by mistake, and realized it that my jig is still exist 😂
I UV coat them as they chip easy. Get rid of the rear for a single hook and redo the assist hook too. 😊
