Very nice Jig Rigging for a 40g slow! Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge! Newbie question: How would you tie this jig to your main line ? (using a fluoro leader with FG knot i guess, probably around 10kg-20lbs) with how long leader ? out of the rings of your fishing rods ? Direct fluoro knot on the split ring or on the solid ring of the 2 assists hooks? or using a snap ?! Thank you in advance! the best is to come 😉😚😘

people have different thoughts about this...so here is mine, then I will explain why. - firstly, about leaders - for shore fishing I use long leaders - shore fish are mostly pressured because a lot more people can get to them - on top of boats and kayaks...so a long leader makes it possible to separate the highly visible braid with the lure - as a bonus, this section is always going to be around things that will easily cut your braid - so a long leader in shore fishing for me is a top priority. Having a long leader forces you to use an FG or a PR. You can only use bulky knots with very short leaders. Even an albright including its mutations are not thin enough. for people that say they prefer the albright or any other knot other than knots like the FG or PR...I am willing to bet they can not tie these two effectively.
