- V8 Sound card to Keyboard, Guitar, BM 800 mic & speaker - almost V8 to a band. You have to use a splitter from the keyboard and drums set to connect to the Sound card. We do not have a drum set so I can’t show that.

This video has been my inspiration in setting up my studio. Used the same type cord for my acoustic guitar and also plugged it in the “dynamic mic” but it doesn’t work :( only my keyboard works when plugged in to the dynamic mic :(
Did you try turning the mic volume up- try max mic volume coz using a dynamic mic is not as loud as condenser mic.
I plugged in the mic and a guitar the same way you’ve done in the video. For me, I get guitar sound, but no mic sound. When I unplug the guitar, the mic works again. So, it seems like plugging into the dynamic input turns the condenser input off completely. How do I get both inputs to work simultaneously?

@@jenuds i want to maximise equipments to use kasi. Just mixer to f9 soundcard to CP and ipad2. need to record songs na kasi for our congregation. Medyo complicated lang sa F9, oldo diffrence only has no dynamic input, only d 3.5mm...thnx

In that set up you’re only using the mic effects from the keyboard. Connecting to the music input will have a better sound.
Hello! Nice tutorial! I would like to ask, is it possible to use it with an electronic drum kit with music accompaniment from a separate phone?
If you want to connect all these plus electric drum from a separate phone, you would need a Y splitter from end of the red cable coming from accompany instrument of V8 sound card then connect to keyboard and phone. It’s called 3.5mm female to dual 3.5mm male

Hi there, thanks for the video tutorial, but what change did u make, cause previously in another video you shared, that V8 cannot play condenser microphone and dynamic one together .. did u change the soundcard? Or could do it in the same, if that how? In my case, only dynamic one works, if connect both ..
As per experience, the v8 that has Black and white color like in this video link th-cam.com/video/KIrn25w1d50/w-d-xo.html I was not able to use both the condenser and dynamic mic at the same time. But i was able to use both at the same time with the v8 that have Red buttons like in this video that you wrote a comment.

@@catwalk123ful oh really. Sorry to hear that. I would turn it on like normal and I don’t have to press anything while recording as long as Record volume knob is on high.
I was also unable to get both mic inputs working at the same time, but was able to connect a mic and guitar simultaneously by plugging the guitar into the backing track port. I had to use a headphone Jack to guitar cable adapter to plug the included cord into my guitar pedal output. Works!
I have a USB headset which has a very good mic on it, does it work if i buy a 3.5mm to USB cable so that i could connect my USB headset to the V8 headset port? Please answer me, thank you
I’m not sure if it’ll work. I don’t have. Usb headset yet to test with. On the other hand if you have a usb mic that has headphone port, you can use that port to connect to the mic port port of v8 using a 3.5mm TRS male on both ends.
If we are using more than 2 instruments, do you think using a mixer than connect the mixer output to the soundcard will work?
I’m not sure if I’m getting what you mean. If you meant the 2 instruments will be connected to the mixer then to sound card, yes it’ll work for recording or streaming. You should be able to do the same using the mixer alone.

At this time when I connect my keyboard to my laptop directly through 3.5mm input in laptop, the keyboard is recorded but sound doesn't come through my keyboard speaker so I can't hear what I play.
So, my question is Can I record my keyboard and hear through keyboard's speaker itself when using soundcard ??? I am repeating (I wanna record and hear through my keyboard speaker).
Perhaps your keyboard and mine are the same- once you connected your keyboard, the sound will be connected to wherever you connected it. Now you can hear it thru the head Phone port of your keyboard. Perhaps that’s possible on other keyboard. Anyway for Recording purposes, if you want to connect your keyboard to a laptop, you will need a TRRS to micro usb (comes with you buy V8) from your laptop headphone port to music input of v8. Now connect another device to use for Recording from the V8 sound card from the Live 1 or 2. Connect the headphone from v8 to monitor the audio.

I connected the V8 to my keyboard for recording but after recording the end product will not have the same quality as at when am recording it....what could be the course pls
Sorry I’m not really good in audio mixing. I only one knew the set up and my knowledge on getting a good audio output is not that great. I only play by the ear.

How do I record a song with v8 because i wanna hear the instruments alone so that I can record my voice into it. But it seems not to work for me
V8 does not have monitoring on off feature so you will have to hear both the instrument and vocals.
Perhaps you record the instrument first then record the vocal after you recorded the instruments

If you want to record to your laptop, don’t connect to the headphone jack of the laptop, it won’t work. Set up would be same as in this video link th-cam.com/video/yjK06aZSVG8/w-d-xo.html just open camera/video from your laptop then record. If you just want to record the audio, to your laptop, you can use audacity. Sorry I don’t know much about audio software.

How can I record my voice and piano sound in laptop
You would have to connect the Micro usb to the V8 then USB type A to your laptop. Then select the V8 as your input (mic) an output (Speaker). Connect your guitar and mic to V8 then you can record. You may use your built in camera from your laptop or if you have software to record them then feel free to use it.
I'm wondering why when I connected my jbl boomx1 to speaker outlet there's always having a feedback from my speaker.
Yes it causes feedback when mic is close to the speaker. Try using a longer cord from the sound card to your speaker.

As long as the device like cellphones, tablet, etc is connected to live 1 or 2 of the sound card, you will hit record from your phone. In this video I used an iPhone, I used the built in camera of the phone.
MAM pls simply explain how to tranfer what I played in Keybardt😅😢to transfer in my iphone secondly6.35 with feamale jack 3.5 where it wil be inserted hipefully audio out
You can use 6.35mm male jack on both ends to connect from your keyboard to the dynamic port of your V8 sound card. Now connect from live 1 or 2 of V8 to your iPhone. You will need a lightning adapter for your iphone. Please note that not all adapter works, as some are only headphone adapter and won't record. I bought mine from apple store. Now simply open your camera then record while you are playing your keyboard.
Would the noise from background enter the recording??...
If just a guitar connected then no. But with mic connected yes especially using a condenser mic which is sensitive.

You should be able to connect it however watch out the volume as it could easily peak.

You should be able to as long as you have the adapters.

Need an advice. How do i use laptop and keyboard simultaneously for singing(dynamic mic) via v8 soundcard? Kindly help with connections. Till now i hv been using youtube tracks to sing for my fb live and youtube recording. I use dynamic mic more than condenser mic. Recently i received a copyright clain on one of my videos, had to delete it. Hence i m planning to use keyboard or guitar as additional accompaniment. Pls suggest
Good willing I’ll make a video on that. That’s great if you can do that. Just so you know even if you add or play Guitar or keyboard using an artist song. Some songs you get copyright playing guitar or keyboard. I noticed most of the artists songs are with copyright claim but sharing which is okay to me. Check first before you delete it, if it’s sharing you should leave it. Sometimes not monetized in your area but monetized in other area, so you should leave it.

It depends on the song, some songs you have to add it on the description but some, as soon as you tube detects, it will be added automatically in your description. I am not expert yet on copyright issue, just saying as per my experience only.

Where is the last wire connected
If you are referring to the 3.5mm to RCA. I connected the 3.5mm to the Earphone port of V8 and RCA to the external speakers speaker (White and Red)
