When Figueiredo said "Its my day" I felt so happy for him. I know majority are Moreno fans, but Figgy has rough weight cuts and the entire crowd was against him but against all odds he won. Fourth fight will be incredible.

I don't understand how anybody thinks Moreno won that fight. I scored it close by clear win for Figgy, winning rounds 1, 3, and 5. If anyone disagrees please feel free to enlighten me.
I think cause Figgy didn't hurt him. Moreno won all the round (3 i think) and Figgy dropped him at the very end, but Moreno got right back up and didn't seem phased by it. I'm fine with the result, but that's just the general consensus I've been hearing.
I think that the judges gave too much value to the 5th round kd by figi and that happened bcs moreno more was off balance due to treowing a leg kick, i gave that 5th round to moreno

You need to take into consideration that they're watching ring-side, not watching 100 different angles of things from cameras / replays. These are all live reactions, and they see a complete different fight than what we see from the dozens of camera angles we're blessed with being as a viewer.

I'm so happy for Francis, seems like a first class human being. I pray the UFC treats him fair and they workout their differences. Let him box if he wants to box and earn life changing money. Dana has seen what happened to Conor though after getting that big Mayweather payday. Conor hasn't been the same since and Dana doesn't want to see Francis go down that road this early in his career. Bottom line is that it should be Francis' decision and UFC should support him, not fight him. Hey UFC, sit down and find a way to make it a Win/Win for both parties, it can be done and SHOULD be done. You should watch fights and you will know who won.
Yeah this fight was closer than what alot of people be thinking. First two clearly to Gane and 3/4 to Ngannou. But in the 5th Gane was more active than Francis. More strikes, more active on the ground with submissions, etc. Ngannou just got control and layed on him. No ground and pound whatsoever.
Just shows you shouldn’t leave it up to the judges to decide who wins 🤷🏻♂️

I really dont rate Fernand as a coach. Hes obviously good in gym and good at spotting talent but hes had 2 guys lose both HW title fights. In both it seemed like his athlete was caught by suprise and he failed to give the right advice in the corner

@Mystic Editor No he didn’t, Cyril is just a genetic freak like Ngannou, Anthony Joshua, Wilder, Giannis and his brothers, Embiid … All these guys started training/playing their sports very late, Ngannou started at 26, he was an homeless illegal immigrant at that age, Cyril started MMA 5 years ago at the age of 26 to i believe, AJ and Wilder both started at 18, Giannis and his 3 other brother started balling around 14 and they are all in the NBA, imagine 4 brother in the NBA, that’s just insane genetic and same for Embiid he started balling at 16 in Cameroon, and now he is the most dominant player in the NBA with Giannis and Lebron …

Figgy and Moreno should face at least one other opponent before they have a 4th fight in a row. So far it's 1-1-1, could very well be 3-0 Moreno but cant change the record books. There's other flyweights that deserve a shot at either of them
Huge respect for Brandon Moreno for putting up one hell of a fight even though he lost, I'd love to see Moreno and Figgy fight again for the fourth time around. Wow, Henry Cejudo really did a pretty good job of training Figgy towards winning back the UFC flyweight gold.
Pretty good to see Francis Ngannou show some pretty decent grappling/wrestling, just shows that he's still evolving as an MMA athlete and champion. No shame in losing to the champion for Ciryl Gane, there are still lots of room for learning from this defeat, improving or evolving, and bouncing back well enough from this loss towards another shot at the UFC heavyweight gold.
