This reminds me of a nightmare I had. I was dressed as a hunter from bloodborne but I was unarmed, I was only holding an ugly tome made of human flesh. It was the necronomicon I was running through a deep dark and cold tunnel or cave. There were mounds of land mostly submerged in a thick and deep sea of blood. Monsters would rush out the moment you walk over the puddles of blood. I remember getting hit by a blood spear and I dropped the book into the Red Sea. I then laughed only to wake up confused, I left them have the book so chaos could flourish by the fool who has it now
To the people who don't know Lovecraft is the father of horror. To those who don't know 95% if not all take inspiration from lovecrafts work. Any horror junkie knows this. They even did a film called Lovecraft: Fear of the Unknown (go see it). Which producers and directors said they got inspiration from him. He was beyond his time. Aliens,The Thing,World of warcraft (old gods and others) i can keep going on. Inspiration! Point is this guy was amazing and tbh i hope a legit movie of cthulhu comes out. Also great video bro! I wonder if Dagon is the drowned god the Iron born worship in, A song of ice and fire? They do mention the deep ones and, they quote the words "what is dead my never die but, rises again stronger" H.P. lovecraft has influenced George R.R. Martin?
This is amazing, Please do other stories your voice makes these stories so enjoyable to hear, it adds just the right atmosphere if you will. CC, maybe add some background ASMR or other background noise that ties in to the story.
I feel it would have been better if you put some urgency into your voice at the last bit, but I found every other bit great. Perhaps do the Dunwich Horror next?

I'm writing off the cuff here so i'm not sure if this is indeed H.P Lovecraft or yourself you penned the story you read here but it's so fitting towards the subject matter. Cthulu, for example would have been great (especially yourself providing audio with that DAMN sexy voice of yours). Not my place to tell you how to portray your content, but...maybe another Great Old One given this same treatment wouldn't be a bad idea. Either way. I enjoy your content.
its an actual book by hp Lovecraft, these are extremely difficult and time consuming to do. its not as easy as merely reading the book sadly. I initially read the call of Cthulhu and had to delete two hours of audio, complete waste of time. as the book is written in a way which is extremely difficult to read. punctuation and just over all sentence structure is appalling.
I think a big deep one, but as he is so huge and old is way more powerful than normal deep ones. Maybe a deep one would grow to be powerful beyond time and space with enough growth, or maybe be limited to a more mortal existence

Tolkien invented what we know as "Orcs", he is who turned Elves into 6 foot tall beautiful humanoids where before in stories they had always been like the Kebbler cookies elves and looking like what we would call Gnomes. If you read his work in The Silmarillion he has all the deity pantheon with the good vs evil demigods fighting with each other while one main god looks at his creation and knows it was a failure. There is so much in Tolkien's written works that is almost copy and pasted into Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying games from 40 years ago its almost comical.
Sleepy .Time Dungeons and Dragons tried to also rip off the hobbits and ents and made races into their games called Hobbits and Ents but I remember that Tolkien sued them and they changed it into Halflings and Treants.
