Awe thank you. Oh I wonder if we ran into each other on the ship. My husband was the one wearing the dog 🐾 jacket and we brought Moby along with at times.
I absolutely love Hawaii and am usually there every summer but we canceled this summer due to the long cruises. We are looking at doing a repositioning cruise next year that would go to Australia with stops in Hawaii. Hopefully we can make that happen.
We are taking our first cruise and first visit to Hawaii on January 30 coming up on HAL Konsingdam 18 days can't wait, we love sea days and we love HAL the food is amazing as is the live music at night.@@tpstravels
Oh no! Yea, I knew a couple people on that cruise. I felt so bad for all you. I’m so happy you got to rebook. Sending good vibes for your upcoming trip.
This week's cruise to Greenland has been axed due to weather conditions in Greenland they are doing all Canadian ports instead, you were blessed! What a disappointment for those on Legend this week. I bet the locals are enjoying the finances the cruise ship passengers are bringing to their town!
Oh no!!! I know a few people on that cruise this week. I hadn’t heard that. That’s awful but unfortunately that is the risk you take when cruising. I did hear of someone else losing their Greenland cruise ports earlier this year on another ship. I hate that for them.

We will be going to Nanortalik in September. My son uses a wheelchair, so we are trying to do some research ahead of time. Not related to that, can you get Danish currency on the ship to pay for the crafts being sold by residents?
I don’t believe they have a currency exchange on the cruise ship. We got our Danish money at the local grocery store. We paid for our stuff with American money and they gave us Danish money. Although they do accept American money there at the stores and vendors. In fact they love American money and will gladly take it. I made one lady selling crafts super happy. 😊 I hope enjoy your cruise 🚢
@@dannyesse3043 Thank you for the feedback. I was simply going off my weather app when saying the low that day was 44 degrees. We were there in August and according to these websites the low in Nanortalik was 39 degrees and 42 degrees on the other. So, I don't know. I guess my weather app was wrong then, but I was told temps in August can range from a low of 42 to a high of 55 in August. weather.com/weather/monthly/l/95167a2001905168f2abe294bb8ac6be33c6a551a17cc67c5d4342da96b506a6 www.accuweather.com/en/gl/nanortalik/1779/august-weather/1779
We agree, a small town with friendly people, we enjoyed our walk around also, thanks for sharing 👍🏿
Loved Nanortalik and the precious white dog Junior
Thank you for this introduction to Greenland.
You are very welcome
I really enjoyed your vlog. We were on the 13-27 sailing also. Can’t wait to see the coming episodes

@@tpstravels - I definitely remember seeing you :) My husband is the one who swam in the cove in Nanortalik. He’s really tall. We played trivia a lot.
@@BeautyandTheBeastRVers oh my goodness yes, I remember you two. I will have my Qaqortoq video up tomorrow
I really enjoyed this video. Between you and 2gether we travel, I am now familiar with this port!
Also, I am your newest subscriber/friend.
Great, I’m so happy that together we have been able to give you some good information. Welcome to my channel! I’m excited to connect with you 😊
Hope to get to see you cruise to Hawaii some day!

Great video. We were on the next Greenland cruise that didn’t happen 😞 so we have rebooked for August of 2024. Hopefully we will get there this time.

44 degrees?
Yep, but it felt warmer as the day went on. Gorgeous day to walk around.
@@tpstravels 44 degrees in Greenland is impossible. 25.9 is the highest ever registered in Greenland in 1958.
