I used to own a pet grooming business on Starkey Road. My customers liked in Bardmor but I lived in Orange Grove Estates. I liked it but took a job in Iraq and gave up my shop. Thanks for the memory lane trip.
I used to live in the largo/seminole area for around 15 years enjoyed it b4 i moved to tampa. It's changed some from what I've heard. I used to ride my bike around the neighborhood and easily drive to the beaches nearby.
WOW, my hometown LARGO Still looks the same after moving to Brasil 5 years ago You're coming in from the west, Bellair Beach, onto West Bay Dr headed east to High Point and to PIE, the Pinellas county airport You took a right at Missouri Av where you should have gone left, you're headed into Seminole You did a circle and got back on West Bay Dr again headed east. Surprised at the lack of traffic. You cross Starkey Rd then Belcher Rd and eventually you get to US19 and turn south Much of Largo is NORTH of West Bay Dr. Noticed a lot of new covered bus stops in Largo now Went to Largo High. Good little town with mostly good areas, some not so good, like all Bellair to the west, Clearwater to the north Easy trip to Indian Rocks beach, where you left to enter Largo on the Bellair causeway Didn't see a homeless count on that trip ? NO visible homeless vs Bradenton ? If you had gone north at Missouri Av off West Bay, as you enter Clearwater I am guessing you'd have seen some homeless MY Dad used to call Pinellas Park - PENNILESS PARK
it does not look the same it is very crowded and i cant move and i cant get peace and quiet. largo park and largo library is stinky flooded with homeless. my waterfront home i owned since 1979 sold it the new owner demolished it and build their own mansion there it looks like a shithole
Nice area I'd like to visit one day never been I used to live in Florida back in the '80s I used to live in Clearwater Florida for 12 years and I moved up to Tennessee and back in '92 I would love to go back to visit my home state again
Was thia recorded recently? Ive spoken with several people that say the traffic there in the winter is nuts because of the snowbirds. It doesnt look bad at all
@@captainkirk2502 I lived on the Von Road Gladys Street area a lot of fake people really high rent over the past 10 years or so it's really gone downhill when I first moved in 2010 the first few years were great it just went downhill very steadily and it said to see it regress I can't speak for all of Largo I'd like to give the East Bay Area a try I can only tell you of my experience

Definitely built up with an elevation of 33’ surrounded by water. The housing looks nice.

We enjoyed Largo when we went there a few years ago.
Locals called it Larghetto.

You picked a good day and time to drive through there as traffic is usually nuts all the time.
