Sometimes the rain can be a blessing... No zipline, but instead, we got to witness Lake Sebu in such a magical environment. Seeing all the water drip off the vegetation, and watching the locals gently paddle across a cloudy lake...
MAGICAL. That is the only word to describe it.
I WILL BE BACK HERE FOR A BIG LONG IMMERSIVE TRIP! :)

Your place and your culture are amazing! I was there in March and April. I met a lot of people in T'boli, then met a family in Norala, up in the mountains at El Kuda. I can NOT stay away! I am now in the process of rearranging my life so I can stay there more than just a few weeks at a time. My soul aches to return! I did bring some of that wonderful native T'boli coffee with me. I'm running low. I'll be there for Christmas!!!

Lake sebu is so serene. It is my favorite getaway when I was in davao city in 1993 to 1994. I enjoyed the rough road going there. That time no place to sleep except the tourism office overlooking the lake. I lost my way when I fetched someone in marbel. I took the jeep going back to Lake sebu and while lost I was so enchanted with the place they call their ancestral domain. I ate so much tilapia there. And we toured the entire lake by a boat. The only sound you will hear at night was a bayle from a near barangay playing so old songs. My experience there still tops of all my trips in the Philippines.

I so appreciate you young men. I just watched a vlog where the foreigner and his Pilipina wife did nothing but complain about Sebu Sebu, its trash and sewage. But not one word to what they are doing about it or how they might participate in a clean up. No encouragement to learn or teach. I'm afraid he has just alienated the Pilipino People. I live in the US but a part of my roots are there, particularly Mindanao. I have pride in the Country of my roots, its people and culture. I don't take kindly to such negative criticism with the balance of some positivity, if only to show respect and honoring the Country they are visiting. How much more for the people who live there.
I have yet to see any of you and your friends complain about the defects and negative aspects of the country, its culture, or its people. When confronted with pollution, trash, etc., you simply pick it up. You might say a little something to teach, but its never a judgement and criticism. And sometimes, you take it further by actually participating in a beach clean up. You've always shown a great deal of respect and love for the people, the country, the culture. It is why you will always be loved.

the blogs you are doing in the those remote places in the cordilleras are really very endearing especially on me who was a kid in the 1950s in metro manila. at the time, pasig rizal was still very much rural and kids like those in your blog running with old bike tires for fun. that is what I was, during my boyhood where simple things make us happy. I hope the Philippine govt should recognize your work and others who to me are the unofficial ambassadors of the Philippines to the world...….

❤ I have been there long before vloggers during the hight of the drought in 1996 to 97 as a new registered nurse helping on a medical mission in south cotabato. We disnt get paid but our accomodation and experience touring various virgin beaches of Mindanao was our reward. It was awsome helping our Tiboli katutubo with free medicine and medical care especially the roads back then was treacherous but made it. Lake Sebu was out of this world it was like a scene from a fairytale in a far away exotic land.

Looks like festivities is winding down and you guys are leaving the city embarking on another adventure heading to an "ENCHANTED PLACE" and you're taking us there through your camera and drone to that CAPTIVATING LOCATION - Fabulous! Based on the video, I can say, Mindanao is really blessed with many astonishing views, farmland, beautiful beaches, soft mountain slopes, very lush country sides, plethora of produce and fruits and people are friendly. Streets are wide and paved. It looks like safe place to live contrary to what Mindanao is known for "Dangerous" place to hang. As you glide through the lush winding road and the fog start to dissipate from above, Lake Sebu revealed itself in a dramatic fashion - "magical" moment. Thanks for revealing to us your future plan - returning back to the area and immersing yourself with the locals - That's the way to learn the culture. Daily jogging is a good stress reliever, brings your spirit up. Rain is a disruption alright especially when traveling but it has it's benefit to it - that's what makes Mindanao so green and robust, embrace with open arms. Take care!

I love how that bird at 14:40 was charging your drone probably thinking "What is that?" Then immediately was "Evasive maneuvers!!!"
