- Comic Book Shopping welcomes Seth Green in honor of his directorial debut, Changeland. After iconic roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Austin Powers, Family Guy, and co-creating Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, Seth is breaking new ground with Changeland, which hits select theaters and VOD June 7th.
Comic Book Shopping, hosted by Collider Heroes’ Coy Jandreau, gives guests the opportunity to tap into their inner comic book fan by spending some time browsing the racks at local comic book shops in Los Angeles. Past guests have included Zachary Levi, David Harbour, Michael Rooker, Sarah Chalke, Michael Giacchino, Frank Miller, and many more industry heavyweights.

Why does he rarely reccomend graphic novels? I LOVE supporting the single issues, but half the time he suggests random issues in between runs.
As a regular comic book reader, nothing makes me cringe harder than Coy recommending an issue in the middle of a story.
My guess is getting a taste of something in the middle of the story is something that he's personally fine with, he just hasn't realized that's a little weird for most other people, lol.

I remember running into Seth Green at the original Golden Apple location with my best friend right after Austin Powers 1 came out. We were no more than 12 years old and he was the nicest guy. Couldn't be more happy to talk to us and sign our comics. Thanks Seth!

I would watch a Coy Review Show of Comics to be honest. He needs one honestly, he can get you into Comics and not beat you over the head with it and find something you like to read.

Spidercomics 7 I remember picking it up when it first launched and I was really excited to get into a marvel equivalent of Teen Titans but it was really more of a collection of short stories that dealt to heavy a hand of this is right and that’s wrong which sadly made me drop it

It's so great to have a guest that genuinely knows his shit. Instead of the usual head nods and "yeah that sounds interesting". Seth Green is awesome although when I look at him, all I see is Oz. I would love it if they also paid some more love for the non-superhero comics as well. So many great titles, so little time.

Decent choices (except for West Coast Avengers and Champions), but since Seth Green wrote for Top Cow, why not also steer him towards some indies as well? We have both Freshmen TPBs (found them at Half-Price Books) and they're funny and enjoyable. The Puppeteer is our favorite character. It would make a great TV series, like a "Doom Patrol on campus" vibe.

Seth Green is 45! He looks about 33! And that’s with an aging beard. Are Coy and him related?🤣 I wonder if he or any of the other guests on this show actually read the comics they’re given? As for the bill, do these celebrity guests pay for it out of their own pocket, of does Collider put up the bill instead? Anyway, a great little show! Always has been. One of Schnepp’s legacy projects that hasn’t been spoilt by Collider yet, unlike Heroes.
